I don't know if you'd call it a swipe, but maybe an inspiration, good buddy! (Since we know Feek was inspired by something else)

Hah, that's uncanny...  :)

That's Ace! Bum, tish. I'm here all week

What was Feek based on?

Obligatory Land Raider / Matchbox K2001 Raider Command post.

I think this was some kind of tie-in promo because there was a comp to win one in prog 80.

Remember this from a while back?
Another one from Ro-Busters, Dr Feely-Good.

Yes, thanks Albion. That's exactly the pic I was thinking of.

There's a couple from Robots: Fact, Fiction and prediction

Mo

Gottlieb

and Casey

I'm also super sure I've seen Dr Feely-Good as a welding or medical robot in something.

Also has anyone mentioned the Matchbox K2001 Raider Command yet?

Skullmo, I've got that book somewhere. Most of the extra characters from the Robusters Rise and fall story are in there.

Woooaaahhhh! Those staples are huge. They must be twice the size of, oh wait.

Small comic, not far away.

I'm sure it's his style on the editorial pages of Monster Fun. I've got an issue of After Image somewhere with some early Kev stuff in it.

Film Discussion / Re: Dredd (2012)

This might not be news but it is to me.

I found out this weekend I can play the Dredd blu-Ray on my PC in anaglyph (cyan / red) 3D. I was having a flick through using Power DVD  and I idly pressed the 3D icon. I don't have a 3D screen or active glasses but a rummage for some cardboard specs and I was happily watching a Dredd in retro style red blue 3D

It was a great night. I really enjoyed it and my partner, who doesn't read comics, enjoyed it too. She was fascinated by the art.
Well done to the organisers. I hope plenty of people visit the exhibition over the next few weeks.

Didn't know any fellow boarders were there. I won the quiz for y'all. Only agreed to it in the morning and won a Planet Replicas badge for my trouble. Still feel a bit stupid I couldn't remember Ian Dury's name, all I could think of was new boots and panties.

Great night and hard to believe something this good is in my hometown.

Took a few pics, more later

This is my first Thought Bubble do you have any advice for me

My first time last year, just turn up and talk to people. You'll have a great time I promise. My only problem was not knowing who folk were. I was waffling to someone behind the Image table about how great Prophet is and it turned out to be Giannis Milogiannis.

I have that issue of Starblazer and it deserves an over-size treatment, if the art still exists.

IIRC DC Thompson kept hold of artwork. It's either landfill or some where in DCT Towers. Great stuff, never seen that issue in the flesh

Mine also arrived today and I was quite surprised at how big it was.

Mirkin, I love Mirkin. How can one strip in one comic stay with you for so long?
