"Hi Dad" moment was nice in Doctor Who, but always the best "hi Dad" moment is the ending of one Episode of Angel with when Angel and his gang near the hole as a rumour of big monster to come through the hole, a monster appears, but then a guy appears and killed off the monster straight away before the gun on Angel and says "hi dad". classic moment!
