Because you like clicking on things and at least it doesn't have anything to do with Farmville?

Books & Comics / Scream! Facebook Group

Someone's set up a Facebook group dedicated to getting the shortlived '80s horror comic Scream! collected and reprinted. As you can see, it needs more members...

Actually, while we're at it, is that PJ Rogue picture an official piece, or a fanzine/small press illo?

Cheers

Jim

Okay, I'm going to stick my nose out here as the rogue Trooper magnet isn't a piece that has been in 2000ad. It was on PJ's blog and was coloured By Steve Denton before being used as part of my Advertising banner for Zarjaz.

Therefore should PJ have been asked permission first?

Looks as if someone's just googled "2000ad".

News / Re: Rebellion Cuts Staff Rumour

To put this into context a bit more, there's a "Studio Profile" of Rebellion in this month's Imagine FX magazine, which contains the following sentence...

"Rebellion houses around 150 employees in its main Oxford studio, with more in its Liverpool and Derby studios - quite a jump from the head count of around 60 five years ago".

Didn't mean the 3D versions of them were rubbish, just that to permanently render them that way would be.

Did you HONESTLY use the word "COLOURED" (albeit mis-spelled)?

Now this could spark an interesting debate about what is and isn't considered racist.

I think the problem most people would have with the term "coloured" these days is that it's not very specific. It groups everyone who isn't "white" together without distinction. However, in the past it was also used by people of different races to describe themselves, which is why there are groups with names like this around... http://www.naacp.org/home/index.htm

There are quite a few preview video clips on YouTube from the new album and all of those depict the band two-dimensionally and the promotional artwork I've seen is also in 2D, so it doesn't look like they've been given some kind of rubbish 3D makeover or anything like that.

I worked out the ending of the Bruce Willis dead people thing simply from hearing that it was about
a little boy who saw ghosts and Bruce Willis was in it as a child psychologist.
All available issues, which in this case must mean all the issues the seller has available.

Technically nothing wrong with it, but could have been worded in a far less confusing / potentially misleading way.
