Talking of which, I think there might be a twist at the end of the series.

Shouldn't there only be three clicks at the end of that Mean strip. He's already got his dial set at one, so it only takes three more to get to four.

Unless he's setting it to four-and-a-half, of course...

You might want to include something about the morally suspect "heroes" of the 1980s, such as Doomlord or Max the computer from "The Thirteenth Floor".

1 : 2000ad (obviously)

2 : Judge Dredd Megazine

3 : Scream! (1980s horror comic)

4 : Eagle (original version)

5 : Eagle (1980s version)

6 : Oink! (usually referred to as a Viz for kids)

7 : Misty (1970s girls horror comic, slightly weird idea, but worked. I've got an annual that shows you how to make a fake shrunken head!)

8 : Oor Wullie/The Broons (two Scottish comic strips that have appeared every week in "The Sunday Post" newspaper since the 1930s and are collected bi-annually in books. Originally drawn by Dudley Watkins who also drew Desperate Dan, Lord Snooty, Mickey The Monkey, etc;)

9 : Dandy / Beano

10 : Whizzer and Chips

11 : Action

12 : Buster (the title character was originally supposed to be the "Son of Andy Capp")

I think Albion by Alan Moore, Leah Moore and John Reppion should definitely get a mention for ressurrecting a number of British characters from the past.

I don't know either, but it's conjuring up horrific mental images of midget Keith Chegwins, in a similar scenario to that Aphex Twin "Come To Daddy" video.

I saw a better quality version of that piece of footage a few years ago. It looks totally fake.

What's with the bloke waving a torch about like a nutter? Why doesn't he just switch the lights on?

As for "Max" that's obviously the gay(?), Amstor impersonating, Scream website building, Scojo!

Nothing to do with me, whatsoever.

Nor does it have anything to do with the sentient, tower block running computer that hasn't hypnotised me into saying it isn't, the remains of which, I didn't find in a skip that wasn't outside Kings Reach Tower, which I didn't decide to then repair, because that's just insane.

Has anyone noticed that the mirror image of the "CRISIS" logo appears to read "2121AD"?
