do not see any reason why there shouldn't be room for moody serious superhero movies too. Seems an odd complaint.

An odd complaint for a Batman film, not an odd complaint for a Superman film.

...and another, slightly different episode, which I think was broadcast only in the TVS region, ahead of the nationwide one...

1982. TV Times.

The entire episode of the introductory programme, (co-hosted by Michael Rodd), was on youtube a couple of years ago, but now seems to have disappeared. There is this, though...

Regarding Titan's Adventure Time : now that I think about it, I haven't seen an issue for a few months, so it may well have been cancelled.

Oh... no it hasn't... there it is.

Maybe not, but Anzati did specifically say "strong nudity and sexual images", which kind o' puts it into that context.

Not if you were nine it wouldn't, (generally speaking).

All British comics traditionally, (since the 1930s, that is), had free crap stuck to the cover for the first couple of issues as an added incentive, with kids sticking around if they liked the stories. The annoying habit of bagging up tat with every single issue only began in the 1990s.

The Penguin Book of Comics (1967) mentions pretty much all of this stuff in the first chapter.

Yup. What he said.

All the comics and magazines I've ever bought that began coming out less frequently, disappeared within a year or two. It's not a good idea.

The circulation on Titan's Adventure Time has dropped by a third since it launched a year ago.

It actually launched around two and a half years ago. [/face-punchingly pedantic]

I don't think it's that specific. It's been a few years since I read anything about it, but I seem to remember there was some debate about whether it was primarily a psychological or physical condition, due to seemingly genuine symptoms of pregnancy that often fool medical doctors. It can also happen to men, (which probably doesn't often fool medical doctors).

More common in dogs, (and mice), though.

It's impossible to be edgy if there's no edge. When you're allowed to do whatever you want, there's no such thing as subversion.

Flip knows how it'd affect the forum, though...

This is now outwith my area of knowledge.
