I'm not going to watch it either at the cinema or on DVD as it looks crap from that photo.

Anyone else remember the early 1990s Captain America movie? ISTR it being quite violent and getting quite upset by it as a youngster.

Completely missed that! Was it any good?

An odd combo of Nana Mouskouri and Edna Mode from the Incredibles...?

Film & TV / Re: X-Men: First Class(2011) Trailer

At the risk of derailing the thread, this reminds me of the Phantom Menace trailer (bear with me) in that it's missing everyone's favourite component. With Star Wars everyone cheered Han Solo, not Obi Wan Kenobi. The X-Men equivalent is Wolverine.

Still it looks nice, and James McAvoy's always good value to carry a film.

Film & TV / Re: Flash Gordon - Buster Crabbe Series

Those old series rocked.

King of the Rocket Men was my fave... Or was it Daredevils Of The Red Circle? They were all on on BBC 2 many a moon ago, weren't they?

Weismuller WAS Tarzan. Only years after did I discover he was an Olympic swimmer and (surprisingly?? )not an actor...

Nice pic to mark a welcome return of the thread, FuzzChile! These threads run and run, so don't worry. Hopefully this'll spark another flurry of alternate versions :)

It was a great game from a neutral point of view, and the night was made all the more entertaining by Black Eyed Peas bizarre halftime show and Christina Gorilla fucking up the national anthem at the start.
