Glad I could help DDD! :)

In my previous existence on site, 8am was the latest. But we started as early as 5:30 and finished at 11pm on some projects!

Woman keeps a blog of the crazy shit her husband says in his sleep.

"[yelled upon waking] "COCK HUNTER!""

"Flap's on fire."

"Enough with the cheese. Enough!"

"Don't leave the duck there. It's totally irresponsible. Put it on the swing, it'll have much more fun." You couldn't make it up

Books & Comics / Re: Whats everyone reading?

I'd say those reviews are quite harsh,. But then I would expect no less from reviewers. I'm yet to read one (musical, literary or other), that I agree with. It's easy to slate something. They just happen to get paid at the same time.

I saw someone today who perhaps should retake their test. Coming out of a T junction into heavy moving traffic, the driver stopped, realised he was stranded (with people beeping at him for blocking the road) and reversed quickly back into the road he'd appeared from.

Nothing wrong with that in itself, correcting your mistakes is always good. But he didn't look in his rear view mirror. A second later his back end as far as the rear wheels (of a 4x4, so higher up than most) was sitting on top of a sports car's (much lower) bonnet.

So good luck mate! Whatever happens (in your road test), I doubt you could be that stupid.

That Chaplin/Marx/Laurel & Hardy one was fantastic.

The thing with the bow and arrow I mentioned, I remember being in colour so must've been a lot later on.

I do remember a couple of prog scenes where the helmet was off. In one he was getting suited up and his head was in shadow (POV from above looking down - anyone know it??) Then there was another where he set a trap for someone by putting his helmet on a shaded religious-type statue to trick someone/thing with a bow and arrow.

Please tell me I'm not dreaming that last one...

You have a fancy-book bookcase? I only have one shelf, vastly limiting the number of TPBs I can have, never mind books without pictures... :(

These were the last toys mentioned on Ashley Wood's site. It just makes me go all a quiver if Mongrol were to ever grace the shelves with this sort of finish and detail.

I read that Ian Rankin was supposed to be taking over the writing of the main Hellblazer comic itself at some point, does anyone know if any of that has happened yet?

I have no idea but on the strength of Dark Entries I'd happily read more.
