Just bought it yesturday, and have so far only read the first Chapter. Im trying not to rush this one like i do with most of the comics i get, i had to read Dark Night about five times to take everything in and this seems to be one of those stories. And so far it's fantastic.
I can tell when it was written, unlike Dark Knight which I realy like but im trying not realy compare the two. Plus the Cold War theme slips past me because i wasn't around then. But the chracters jump off the page and Moore certainly doesn't throw you any bones on how the story is going to play out. The art is perfrct as well. Shame all DC comics at the moment are computer coloured, you don't get atmosphere when everything's pristine.
