Suggestions / where are they now...
30 April, 2006, 04:23:33 AM
I was just reading through some back issues and not so long ago there was a barricade of new stories but they've never returned even though that Synonammonaman women thingy has had three chances!

Here are some examples:

Snow/Tiger = potential, not another story like this in the weekly and i think the art came of the page really well.

Tiger Sun, Dragon Moon = steve parkhouse, why have i never seen his name in 2000ad before. Swords, japan, monsters, action etc. etc. all put together reaallly weell.

Dead Men Walking = Boo Cook really peaked with this. Clearer art than the mutant and Dredd story he did.

Has anyone got any other suggestions?

Prog / Re: prog1485
25 April, 2006, 01:15:29 AM
personnally i thought this prog was pretty great

cover - nice to see DREDD in this type of pose again, it reminds me why i started liking his character in the first place

dredd - nice to see a new 'detective' story with DREDD as the last few have just been developments

random - Crithlow, i love whatever he does and the story is just fine and dandy

ABC Warriors - the only bad bit of this prog storywise but Flints art is worth every penny in my opinion. id like to see Carlos do some more B/W strips though as his PC art seems to be in every other Meg

the 86ers - best episode yet. Art is at its peak (I.M.O.) and the story is evolving into more than just a spin-off series

low life - i seemed ot prefer Coleby's art in this part compared to anything else he's done, i hope the next episode uses this cliff hanger to good use though.

So that's my opinion of this prog so i think it was pretty darn good.

opefully there'll be more of these DREDD 3-6 parters with not too much sci-fi. i think these can sometimes be the best ones

Hi, i'm new so HI.

The only opinion i have about ROUGE is that he never really does anything. He has a big gun, a vast world to roam, a talking hat, gun and bag. He's blue and is STILLL trying to find 'the traitor general' (i thought he'd already done that?) and seems like a violent character but he never does anything apart from walk and talk. Some good fun blood and violence pleasee!
