It never really went away. I admit this is end product, to kill a squaddie but the punishment squads have been operating since it all supposedly stopped. The press just don't publish everything.
Politics is a dirty word as who'd want to invest in a place where this is happening, again!

By the way will we see some US troops deployed in Northern Ireland now, I doubt it as these are the wrong sort of terrorists!

1- Buy more Dredd items.
2- Go home to Hartlepool and see my family, sometime.
3- Lose a wee bit of weight by using the wii fit as a stepping board. I just can't fit jogging about the streets in anymore as it bores me to death.
4- Decorate the house with any spare money once I have done number 1.

1. Accomplished
2. Might do this summer.
3. Playing Rogue so fit game has been put on the back burner.
4. Still doing number 1.

I've managed 1.5 as I'm in the progress of booking a place to stay near my relatives. Once that's done it'll be 2 out of 4 for me.

I can just see us now in the crowd scene Large48, I reckon we would easily get an Oscar each. I know my lines already "Rhubarb, rhubarb, rhubarb....."
Once our final scene is shot my SWAG bag would come out and all the gizzats would jump into it ;)

I managed to download a scrolling Dredd one for free years ago onto my Nokia and have transferred it to all my improved handsets. You just scroll along killing perps and sky surfers, if I remember correctly, you can change ammo and stuff like that as well.
It's not brilliant, but it was FREE

Be Positive Thryllseekr,
These things just happen. Go through any period in time and horrendous things happen and always will happen. So long as we have our weekly dose of thrill power all will prevail.
Plus I saw the teaser trailer for 2012 and it looks like those Tibetan Monks should get their surfboards out!!!!!

Just finished watching it and must add my congratulations to the list.
Two things made me laugh, firstly I can't believe you did a come on to that other contestant (well done that man) and the best bit was how relaxed (NOT) you looked. The last time I saw that look was just before a fluffy thing went under my wheels at night.
Seriously though, well done, you were easily the best and deserved to humiliate the others with your superior intellect.

Now all we need is an artist to complete the circle!!!!!!!

When I watched the first episode last night I thought that I was watching a live action version of Marvel's Civil War!

You want to feel what it's like being a squaddie or ex-squaddie. Now there's a group that are stereotyped, especially on the telly.
Although saying that it is getting better these days.

By the way 99 times out of a 100 the first question I am asked when people find out what I did is.................can anyone guess...................."Have you shot anyone?"

As I say stereotyped!

The handcannon is only a tenner in the game shop in Maidstone, which is quite reasonable!

Nearly (although I do enjoy laughing at the way they slant the news), I get it free for the wife and she is extremely liberal.
In fact I'm amazed that she loves me with my "death to all wrong do'ers" attitude. We have many laughs deciding the future of the country. Her helping everyone and me locking them all up on an island off Scotland with no visiting writes and no parole. See what you've done Buttonman, I'm on a roll and I'm supposed to be watching Underworld 3 at this moment in time.
Anyway have you got any of those comics?

7. Captain America Comics #1 £85,000. Published in March 1941.

I'm finding the controls excellent (I don't do much gaming so I'm not getting any cofusion with other games and their layouts) but the weirdest bit is using the Nunchuk to throw your grenades, as it says that you have to flick it to throw one. Also it feels a lot easier to move around than from what I remember from the PS2 when I last played that version.
The aiming is spot on and flicking from weapon to weapon is easy.
I shall be having a large session on it later today just to really get used to the controls (as with all real men I never looked at the instructions but waded straight into the gameplay until I couldn't do certain things and then had a look) but from my initial couple of hours play I am very impressed with what Rebellion have done to make it Wii compatible.
One last thing, after watching the cinematic start to the game again, it really makes you want to see cartoon versions of the House of Tharg's characters but alas one can only dream!
