You think this is bad, if you joined the Mongoose Dredd kickstarter, then you know what's bad. £300 paid up with a delivery date of December 2012 and I'm still waiting for around half of the kit.

BLOODY HELL!
I managed to grab a quick chat with him at the bar and thank him for his work at LSCC and only last month had some of my books signed by him at NICE, this was while he was in great demand for his sketches.
What a sad day in the world of comics but especially for his family and loved ones.

Thanks for the compliments. Yes it is bloody huge and I was going to put it on top of one of the bookshelves in the dining room but then I thought that the weight may make it top heavy and decided against it. I think I will have to get another display cabinet for the cellar and place it inside that, or on top of it.
Glad you liked the art - commission - sketch blog. It's truly one of the more enjoyable parts of the comic world in my opinion (as you can see from the words I use in the blog) and that sounds like a superb idea for your anniversary. I wish you all the best in venturing into the world of original artwork and what better place than to have King Carlos do a commission for you
