Forgot to add this sketch cover from Geoff Senior, who I met at Demoncon7. I showed him my ideas and he chose the Dredd Vs Alien one. I'm sure you'll remember Geoff from the Lawman of the Future.

Sorry Goaty, when I chatted to Alex at LFCC, we started that rumour to cause you maximum torture, as we knew you would go through the film fame by frame to find the elusive 3rd nod ;)

I just keep buying more blank covers as and when. I have 15 IDW Dredd covers (there is another thread HERE and I've only just realised that I have another cover to paste on there).

I've waited years for some sort of Dredd sketch cover and so started collecting a few from DC/Marvel/Indie just to have a bit of fun. Now IDW have brought out issue 13 with the variant sketch cover, so I was Mega happy. Still waiting on 2000 AD to do one and then I'll spend some money  ;)

As for posting up on Tumblr, I'm okay with that, so go ahead. I have placed all the artists names with each pic, so that's okay and if you want to credit me you can either use the forum name or my real name John Burdis

It's all part of the fun of seeing something something new at a con and taking the plunge ;)

Latest cover was dropped off at the Grinning Demon for me to pick up today. This is exactly as I wanted it, 'Cap holds shield up, Dredd shoots through it and carnage erupts on Caps face. Cap in foreground!' Looks spot of to me and this was by Phil Buckenham

Now that did just make me guffaw

That was enjoyable and I did like the nuclear tests backstory. One thing though, when the beast goes under the aircraft carrier with Billy on top and we see it through the water, surely with that amount of displacement of water underneath, it should have done a wee bit more disturbance to the ship ;)

Welcome aboard and do say hello when you're at the next con, as we don't bite. That's unless you look like a pasty, as Pete wouldn't be able to control himself ;)

It could never work out.

He likes Star Trek and I am a dedicated dystopian Blakes 7 fan...

I beg to differ ;)

It was in the write up. I've not tried to get one, as I'm only buying the main cover on this!

Watched the latest two episodes the other night and for the first time it was glaringly obvious that one of the episodes was out of sequence. Apart from that, another couple of fun episodes!
