Thanks. Nah, she's from Starlord comic- there was a story called Mind Wars by Alan Hebden and Jesus Redondo about twins caught in the middle of an interstellar war between Earth and some aliens. They were weaponised with mind powers and get chased about by both sides. IIRC, it ended just before the merger with 2k and so never got into the merged titles- there was a bit of scope for it to continue though. Maybe it wasn't popular enough, but the art was eyewateringly good. The logo is just a copy of the series logo- great logo though.

I'm holding some Amazon vouchers back for the 3rd Monsterology collection, really enjoyed the first two books and champin' at the bit for the next one.

Judge Dredd and its related strips are well known for their "swearing" policy ... why do that and at the same time occasionally put images like pentagrams, inverted crosses and even a baphomet?

Because the expletives you refer to were invented forty years ago, when the comic was pitched at 8-12 year old boys.

The earliest instance of the occult imagery you mention was the Anderson story The Possessed - by which time the 8 year old who picked up prog one was old enough to join the army, have sex, and decide for himself whether he wanted to worship Satan or not.

It's no longer "censorsing" or a "policy" - the old farts who still read the comic just like everything to be the same as it was when they were eight. As Jayzus says, you can't move for all the Gods, Christs, cocks, bastards, and shits in here nowadays. Even the odd cunt.
