...my goodness if I don't see it as a way to get my foot in the door.

Well, less of a foot in the door and more of jamming my lips through the letter box and screaming.

Probably a good idea not to slag the shit out of it and Millar then.

Does a chimp in a cap qualify as a monkey in a hat?

it's borderline...

I remember when my daughter (my eldest) was about 3 and she was misbehaving. It was quite near xmas, so we told her she'd have to be good or Santa wouldn't give her any goodies.
"How will he know?" she says- the obvious question for the smart kid. But we were ready.
"His Elves are watching, they see everything...", says I, smug and triumphant.
There is a brief pause for consideration and a look around the room, specifically up near the ceiling (being only small, I figure it's because she doesn't pay attention to high up much so that would be their best hiding place).
Suddenly she scowls and, still looking around the ceiling, says
"Fuck off, Elves."

And that right there was the moment...

You want the latest Harry Potter? Five quid. I can get you Toy Story 3 if you don't mind Korean subtitles....

I did art for a 'Spot The Strontium Dog' aeons ago in a Dogbreath. Just before the last incarnation of the board disappeared I was 'digitally remastering' it to upload it to the fan section.

Be very careful here- the best laid plans and all that.
Teenagers rebel. Everything their parents like is shit, old and uncool. They stuff they like is shiny, new and better. This is why you can very often find fervent Rangers/ Celtic fans with kids who support the opposite (I'm sure there'll be an English equivalent).

Books & Comics / Re: Mark Millar's CLINT

Well, I really liked the strips but not the articles- can we not have more pictures of naked ladies sprawling on high performance car bonnets instead of that degrading nonsense?  :D
The strips were worth the cover price alone so I'm happy to buy the Second CLiNTing.
