Brilliant so far, only seern the first two so far but really like the way they're going with the whole villain crew and the Pyro guys pretty nasty.  This is really is the direction I expected the second season to go, not that I didn't like the second season it just seemed pointless splitting everyone up and re-setting so many of them.

Did you notice in Mamma Petrellis vision Claire has her head lopped so obvious she can still go with a head shot or decapitation I think its still a hard and fast rule.

Is the Blondy with the senator (is that the captain from Babylon 5?) really Nikki or maybe the twin sister that died? just and Iidea and would explain how quickly she seemed to set up.

Well that looks good to me, season 2 was a bit of a miss step but i still enjoyed it more than most other crap on TV.  Its never been the most original show so I dont mind them co-opting the Powers in a needle story from 4400 it just depends what they do with the story (I've never watched 4400 so I'm not sure what happened in that).  Good effects again and looks like theres gonna be some kick arse showdowns.
Notice Peter has the Scar again, same one he had in the Futures Past episode in the first season.

Alfasuarus, where abouts are you in Oz?  I'm in W.A. and have no problems getting it (in Kalgoorlie) its in several of the news agents here and regular (only ever a few copies though so if they can make sure they hold it for you), its also about 8 weeks behind the UK distribution.  I know the Perth Comic shops get it in Via air so its more up to date but also costs an extra couple of bucks.

they made us watch this in Social Studies at school in year 8, never have i seen a more harrowing and damn scary depiction of the end of the world.  Like alot of guys around here I too have memories of going to sleep at night wondering if I was ever going to see the next day or if the mad Bastards in aAmerica and Russia would blow us all to hell, kids today would truely shit themselves and collapse into useless piles if they had to kve with the same shit we did.  Could you imagine an Emo faced with the real possiblity of extinction?

I remember the cop scene but was this also the one that had that hopefull ending where theye're all waiting for a birth hoping all will be ok and the Baby efectivly looks like a piece of Roast Beef fade out?

Film & TV / Re: "Y: The Last Man" Film

B.K.V as the fans like to call him is a legend, he's consistently written some of the best US comics of the last 5 years.  Y while it has its filler is a top story and really is just about the relationship that developes between Yorik and 355 over the years, would work better as a series though like a troad trip show (think of all the Hot chicks they could cast each week).
Deus Ex-Machina is also great, who'd of thunk a comic about the Mayor of N.Y. city could be so cool, and not just for The Great Machine flashbacks its interesting to see how a U.S city runs. Haven't read Pride of Bagdahd yet but have heard many good things about it.

I think Shia is perfectly cast and thought he'd be great if they ever did a Y movie when I saw him in Disturbia.

this still stuns me even without sound, Silk Spectre make me feel funny in my pants.  As I haven't heard it I cant compare but when Rorsarch's speech pattern changes in the comic I always imagined it to be dull and emotionless sounding.   spectre comments on it at one stage about how creepy and emotionless he sounds IIRC.

Well that kinda reminds me of the Dick Tracy movie from the 90's (or was it late 80's?), looks kinda campy.

Found it at last on You-Tube, the official one takes ages to download guess everyone is trying at the same time.
That look frakin awsome, still quite a bit off so not gonna comment on the freaky looking 3 Dr Manhattens but the bit in Nam with the choppers and the poor little VC soldier perfect.  can not wait for this, now off to watch it again wish I had sound on my work compy :(

concepts good, design work looks good, not crap actors might be worth a look.  I'm a bit of a fan of Sci-fi fantasy and this seems to tick the box's,  swords and spaceships cool.

No No no, must be more Goonies love.  Next thing you know these kill joys will be saying Gremlins or Ghost Busters weren't that good.
HOnestly what kid didn't want to explore caves, find tresure and get it on with a 16yr old chick?  Its a great movie with some truelly awsome bits towards the end and the pirate ship sailing off just made me cheer as a kid.
