Yup, Fantasy doesn't get more epic than Imajica.  I've always thought of him as a modern fantasist, his stories all involve Magic, monsters and quests which for me ticks the boxes for Fantasy.
Hmm, gonna dig out something to read i think, recently re-read Imajica (not as mind blowing as when i was 18) might dig out Weaveworld.

IRRC Pinhead was of non-determined sex in Hell Bound Heart.
Barker has been harping on about his magnum-opus that he's working on at the moment that from the sounds of it sort of does a DarkTower and links his worlds together. fraked if I can remember what its called but its got Harry Dearmour in it (from the Art books Great and Secret Show and Everville) and Pinhead and is about DeArmour basically going to hell (or the work Pinheads from) I think.

Anyone a fan of his first novel Damnation Game, damn good read for a debut.  not read Coldheart Canyon yet will i enjoy?  the blurb has never really grabbed me.

Nother Barker fan here, saw this a while ago and its pretty good for a Barker movie but i cant remember the original story very well so i dont know how good a adaptation it is.  Some very nasty scenes in it and not too over the top on gore more about Dread and fear as it should be.
For fav novel would probably be a toss up between Weaveworld and Cabal with Weaveworld coming out on top due to Cabals short length, I've always wanted him to write more stories in this universe as it's obviously set up for it.
The Great and Secret Show comic isn't too bad an adaptation and i think I've got some NightBreed comics sitting in a box somewhere I remeber that being an ok read.

I'd love to see the Art books as a good quality TV series (like Carnivale which to me always had a Barker feel tio it).

I like it but have absulutly no writting skilz so cant tell weather its actually a good script, i will say once i started reading it I couldn't stop so thats a possitive.  But the man they've got in there shooting non-leathally through inoccents to hit a perp is classic Dredd if you ask me, the destructivness of the weaponry as demonstrated when the Gang blast out a whole level through walls and all seems on par with MC1's universe, theres the different rounds voice activated in Lawgiver, he rides a big fat wheeled bike with TFD (total fucking destruction) cannons on it, yep i reeally think the script has Dredd dead on.

Also dont scripts change quite a bit when they actually start to shoot the movie so any of the boo boo's might get ironed out in the shooting script.

Am i the only one who liked Lungdrens (?) Punisher from the 90's?
admitedly I haven't seen it for years but seemed to me like a great Punisher movie, the Thomas Jane one was just to PG (liked the wacky tone but didn't like the lack of exit wounds + Punisher torturing bad guy with a blow torch, piece of meat and an Icecream WTF he wouldn't go through that crap to make a guy talk he'd just actually youknow Torture him).

My newsie usually has about three or four on the shelf when i get mine (always day its out, which is MOnday down here at the moment) bastards wont hold it for me anymore either so if I'm not quick i find them all gone within one or two days and then I check a coupkle of other newsies (sometimes have a copy left sometimes not).
Not too bad for an outback town though, something I've always found since I've been collecting 2000AD is way more reliable distribution than any US comics.

thats some real quality there, the stuff at the end is espicially good, i really liked the judge speeding through the city.  That Mega City 1 looks spot on.
