Heh.  I just got that.

If you're offering, an icon would be grand.  Something like a cup of coffee would suit, but I leave it to you.  Cheers.

"Yeah, but 'Lesbian Viper'."

Definite logo potential there, methinks.

"you can never truly have too many zombie threads!"

... as the tailor said to the necromancer.

Good thing they're not really zombies:

"The new species has been named Osedax mucofloris, which literally means 'bone-eating snot-flower'."

Now there's a Future Shock pitch for you.

Surely if it's the transdimensional one it becomes Clone Moses, Sin/Dex and Billie verses TD Moses, TD Croak and Kal, plus potentially TD Young Sin/Dex, TD Demi... and so on.

Could get very complicated.

Much as I enjoyed the previous transdimensional oddness and really want to see how it'll pan out, I almost hope this isn't it: it's been great to see Sin/Dex get back to the basics of being amoral hired killers, and messing about with alternate realities could detract from that.

Ah, what the hell.  Mr Abnett seems to be back on form and, if he is, it'll be a cracking tale whatever happens.  Bring it on.

"Holy Moses Tanenbaum. You know, the other one."

What, the trans-dimensional one?  Or is there more than one clone running around?

I don't think anyone saw the later Dredd/Deathfist fight; there was something about Dredd taking the security cameras offline, and nobody else was there in person.

Because knees are for the weak?

Damn.  Having read the title of the thread I was hoping it'd be reporting Marvel's decision to kill off each and every one of their spandex fetishists by dropping them into molten lead.

Curse you, Trout, for so cruelly building up a man's hopes only to dash them to pieces on the sharp, sharp rocks of disappointment.

"Would you like to see Dredd crossing the line?"

No; as has been pointed out it would be too much of a departure for him, whichever way you look at it.

If Dredd enforces the law purely for the sake of the law, obviously he can't condone someone going around breaking the law.

If he enforces the law because (in his view) that's the best way to protect the city, he's unlikely to approve of such violent vigilanteism: cits running round killing anyone they disapprove of, even if they are perps, is unlikely to keep the Meg safe and stable.

Either way, I can't see Dredd allowing Slaughterhouse to carry on without some kind of directive from above.

"how stunning does Breathing Space look in B&W?"

And then some.  That is just so tasty.

D'you think it'd be possible/feasible to have an EE or similar reprinting selected strips (like this) in black and white?  There must be a few things kicking around that deserve to be seen uncoloured.

"We dont know that Tom wasnt trying to escape, but needed to go to his office to get something important only to meet his final end..."

Quite.  Given the high quality of the story so far I'm inclined to believe it's down to things yet to be revealed, rather than plot holes and sloppy writing.

Any word on when the next installment's coming?

Hmm.  Never got the impression Tom wanted to die, but I could've missed something.  I assumed he was just pissed off about what happened to his daughter.

AI's point is a good'un: surely Tom would have sussed that allowing his nutter of a brother to pose as him to assassinate a head of state could, maybe, just possibly have repercussions?

I'd also like to know what'll happen to the article(s) Tom wrote but didn't have the guts/wasn't dumb enough to publish.
