Weeel... the thing about spoilers is, as long as they're marked as such, you don't HAVE to read them.  The same goes for pretty much all of the messages here, really; you can take them or leave them as you like.  Personally I think spoilers and over-analysis of strips takes all the fun out it (besides being disturbingly reminiscent of English Lit lessons) so I avoid those particular threads.
So, I suppose I'm on the side of the new age rather than innocence lost (although, having seen the "Which character would you be?" thread, I think innoncence's gone out the window ;-) ).

Hmm.  It'd be good to see Shakara again, just so long as the sequel didn't let the original down, and personally I've been dying to know what happend to Carver Hale after the last story arc.  But kill SinDex?  Noooo!  Just persuade Mr Abnett to concentrate on restoring the strip to its former glory instead of trying to break the world record for 'most ridiculously prolific writer ever'.

If entertainment's the aim, why not go for a pool of piranhas?  They would remove the tan, after all ;)

Conjures up images of having to break into ancient and eldritch temples Indiana Jones-style, scramble past cunningly constructed traps and liberate artifacts from under the watchful gaze of statues of elder gods, before taking said artifacts back to a slightly tacky TV set to have them patronisingly appraised by some f-list celebrity.

If you want another (non-2000AD) example, watch Dog Soldiers; a pretty decent werewolf film that's elevated to the ranks of brilliance by having a streak of black humour a mile wide that doesn't detract from the horror.
