Huh? I just assumed bananas went in the fridge.

And I've not heard of Yums. I do have a Wok-it right next door though.

I used to go out to the ice-cream van and make a point of asking him not to cover my 99 in raspberry sauce but clearly every time he thought I was actually asking for it and he'd lay that sticky shite all over it. Then I'd make my ma lick all the sauce off it. That story completely repulses me now...

I like how he's whipping the wheel to make it go. Eat that, steampunks.

"At the Oxfam comics gig in Edinburgh at the weekend Andy Diggle mentioned that he had seen some footage and it looked fairly good although both he and the panel were of the opinion that the helmet looked a bit too big compared to the head, but that might just be perspective in some shots – certainly looks okay in the top picture here and anyway, it is a niggling point."

Again with the helmet. Honestly.

More importantly, footage! So a few hours ago I was happy to wait for the trailer, now I'm hankering for just a peek at this footage some privileged few have seen.

One of their counter dudes mentioned Empire as I slammed* this weeks prog down for purchase in FP this lunchtime. He seemed to think it was great.

*Carefully placed.

Either it's a trick of the light or Not-Giant appears to have very small eyes, and Urban's line of vision isn't much of an improvement by the looks of things. They do well to work with this kind've obstruction.

That's a better cover, I reckon.

These pics are great. We're all going to buy the magazine now, aren't we? :)

Seems a shame to scan and post the pics without any benefit to the people who published them. Support print!

But thanks for sharing, Chuffster. I know you did it for the right reasons.

But it was a great sales pitch. Is the magazine out now or do subscribers get it early?

And now she will forever be connected to the 27 club

I'm sure there's plenty of un-famous people who are musicians/do drugs and die at 27 every year and at every other age too.

But are they "cool", Joe?

RIP Amy, in any case. I don't have a bad word to say about the girl, now that I might be banished to hell for it.

Sad end to a young life.

Excellent!

Can you hold off until I wake up?

It does look promising. Even if I wasn't a fan I'd hope for the best seeing as they also hold the rights to They Live.

QuoteI've been trolling Google news myself and every so often you'll see something truly bizarre...

QuoteKarl Urban? No!! I had no idea they were remaking this. I would venture to guess this is going to be even more ridiculous than the original, but at least the original had Stallone. Pass.

He's probably American.

I knew giving them internet would come back to haunt us.

Checking the news on a few other sites it looks like the general consensus is the  uniform is well designed but helmet does seem quite big.
