That message of Don Murphy's is 2 and a half years old, so I'm guessing he's referring to the one that was knocking around before (that, IIRC, ended up on a Tranformers cartoon DVD as the 'prize' for finishing a quiz).

How else would he attempt to artificially inflate the price of them by taking as many as possible out of circulation and making them 'rare'?

Why the Hell they ditched that and kept the Simpsons is almost completely beyond me.

IIRC, it's due to something along the lines of Groening owning Futurama and Fox owning the Simpsons. The network didn't like the idea that they didn't have ultimate say in everything to do with Futurama, so pulled the plug on it.

Or summat. ;)
