A *fantastic* EE this and a great cover from Henry.

My bizarre memory kicking in made me realise that the dialogue on the last page of the first episode differed from the reprint in the 83 annual, which I'm assuming is the unedited page from Trigo's issue 0 version.

It's a shame that the quality of the colour page is really poor compared with the rest of the EE. Maybe a bit of jiggery with the 83 annual version (which was uncoloured) may have been possible...

Hmm. I'm sensing bitterness from a few people.

How long before we're accused of being a clique, I wonder?

As usual, only certain boarders are allowed to reply to this post. ;)

Not disputing any of his footballing abilities, but I sincerely hope he's not being cremated...

I object to the tone of your last post, Eyebrows. It's the same as getting into your car pissed and ploughing through a bus queue, then reversing back over them. Repeatedly.

If you carry on this way, I may be forced to TAKE...YOU...DOWN! ;)

Oops. There I go mixing me genres up. I of course mean *black* metal and not death metal.

Please don't set the Metal Nazis on me. ;)

I toyed with the idea of watching the death metal programme, but guessed what it would probably be like, so avoided it.

Gansta rap celebrity murders: Drive-by shootings whilst hanging wit da homes.

Death metal celebrity murders: Pasty-faced Norwegians stabbing each other in graveyards.

Says it all, really.

That cover for the casefiles is great. *So* great, in fact, that I've boshed together some quick wallpapers. :)

I'm mildly surprised that no one's quoted a McGonagall poem yet. ;)

Great choice from Gary. Dulce et Decorum Est has been my favourite war poem since I first read it in English Lit. Unfortunately, we studied the abysmal Rupert Brooke as well.

my mind is
a big hunk of irrevocable nothing which touch and
taste and smell and hearing and sight keep hitting and
chipping with sharp fatal tools
in an agony of sensual chisels i perform squirms of
chrome and execute strides of cobalt
nevertheless i
feel that i cleverly am being altered that i slightly am
becoming something a little different, in fact
myself
Hereupon helpless i utter lilac shrieks and scarlet
bellowings.

You kept your imminent gender re-assignment a bit quiet, Floyd! Not sure blonde's the way to go for you, though. ;)

Good luck with your studies, chap.

As a quick aside about Amazon: Is anyone else having problems receiving shitty condition books from them? Dirty black marks and dints have been on the books in *every* order I've had from them in the last year.

If you want me to be picky

Nope. Not being unnecessarily arsey with me will be fine, thanky.
