Dredd seemed a bit keen for Logan's arm to be back on the mend at the end of Origins... ;)

Temporarily subless, got mine today from Schmidt's. Is the printing on anyone else's prog fucked up? A lot of the pages in mine have the yellow plate out of whack quite a bit.

Not read the whole thing yet, but: Cracking cover and great Dredd. As much as I love the Goddard/Teague combo, Patrick's looser inking style on this fitted it really nicely.

The Bob Byrne thing, while I liked the Time Twisterish plot, I thought that it could have done with condensing to at the very most three pages instead of six. This might help with the largely duff storytelling, which I think is the main issue with it. The art was ok, but sadly *does* look small pressish.

Artists tend to always have their own pens, but I'd take your own pad regardless. I'd also advise having a loose piece of thick paper or card to put under the drawing page if the artist is armed with permanent markers that are likely to fuck up the next five or six pages below in your sketchbook (Yes, Mr Irving, I'm looking at you). ;)

As the fonts were purchased as a part of the copy of Photoshop, you can use them without a worry. They're not copyright-free, though.[resists opening can of worms labelled 'Copyright']

Hope that helps.

I don't know...no visit to the old Kinematograph is really complete without an advert or two...

I think no ads is ok, but a trip to the flicks isn't right unless it includes...

Bah-bah bah-bah bah-bah bah-bah bah-dah-lah. Bah-bah bah-bah bah-bah-baaaaaa dah!

2 years in the North East have had the strange effect of making me fall into an almost out-and-out Brummie accent completely at random. I've put it down to my subconscious trying desperately to hang on to being a Midlander, though. It'll sound even stranger if I start developing a Teesside accent in conjuction with it.

Due to several things, Malchi and I won't be making it to Bristol after all this year, but the Brum one is definitely a possibility, as I could combine it with a visit to the rellies (which has the added bonus of free accommodation!).

I remember the cartoon version as well from the late 70s.

From TV Cream:

AGATON SAX (late '70s) BBC

Amiable enough cartoon serial about a bowler-hatted, moustachioed detective (and some sort of police constable sidekick). Kenneth Williams did the voices. No record of whether, like Willo the Wisp, show was popular "with the navies".

Do we know who the informant was?

Personally, I thought it was pretty obvious that it was Judd.

With voting closing on the April thread, I thought I'd bump this up for more submissions from people. :)

Good god man, why on earth don't you enter more often?!

Being completely honest; procrastination then forgetting all about them. I've really got a *shit* short-term memory (although I can vividly recall completely trivial things that happened 20-odd years ago).

I have a copy of BlueSunshine by The Glove, but I don't like it all that much and haven't listened to it in years.

I used to have a copy on vinyl, but it went awol with the rest of my record collection years ago. It was remastered last year and a 2-disc deluxe version  was released (in the same format as the SatB Deluxe The Scream and various Cure re-issues). It's somewhere on my ever growing list of albums to replace on CD, so I may *never* end up getting the bloody thing. ;)
