Just looking at the Origins trailer on www.2000adtrailers.com, I think we've seen every picture in the last 6 episodes.  Or have I missed one?

If it checks on IP, could you route through a (free?) UK proxy. Dunno if any exist.

Even Chiaroscuro was mentioned in the D'Israeli interview.  Wandered what he was on about until I realised it was a real word.  Thrills and education.

I noticed that lack of mention of Lazarus Churchyard as well (well apart from one picture at the end).  Surely this is one of D'Isaeli's high points - strange that it's not mentioned.

Right, I think I've sussed it.

Its the Firefox Adblock Plus extension.  I only installed this a little while ago, and so uninstalled it to see what the impact was - hey presto it looks normal again.  I installed it again and the site looks weird.

I don't know if there's some clash with Adblock Plus (or at least my setup of it) and the style page.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I've tried ctrl-f5 - nothing changes.  Version 2 is still beta isn't it?  I can't see why the page wouldn't work on the existing main release

Another funny thing is that the page looks normal on my linux installation.

This is the only page that does this that I usually visit btw.

Is anyone else experiencing problems with the 2000adonline website in their browsers?  For the last couple of days mine has gone all weird (I'm using Firefox).  Anyone with any idea why or anything I can do?

Here's what happened to it:

Prog / Re: Prog 1509 - Fargoville...........

Oh and to be on topic - fantastic prog.

Origins is really warming up with the old uniform and bike, and the subtle hint that Fargo may have been a bit odd with him running around killing things at 6.  Lets hope we get to see that home movie in the next week or so - and what is Dredd "humph"ing about?
Chiasorscuro continues to layer on the tension nicely, anyone know how long the run is?
89ers is a bit meh, but lets hope.
Sinister Dexter has got a bit to live up to in my opinion after its over-use in the last few years.  I hope it doesnt descend into a Helter Skelter type with all these reappearing ex-baddies - but I'm trying.
Harry Kiping off to a nice funny start.

I remember Scream - fantastic comic.  What was the name of the story with the fish thing monster that came out of the sea and attacked people from out of their pool.  I remember being scared of swimming pools for a bit after that.

Whatever happened to Ramsey Campbell - every time I nip into the local book shops (including big ones in London) I can't find any of his stuff in the Horror section.  I remember reading it when I was young - and I really enjoyed it.  Very Lovecraft like, but in a modern setting.  Guess I should just search on the internet.

Wow.  I just remarked to my girlfriend about Alice being the music on Robin Hood.  I got called sad but at least I'm not the only one.

I didn't used to think so, but when thinking whether to downgrade my network to WEP (for the DS as it happens) I had a look and it turns out that WEP is pretty worthless as a security device - the only thing it being good for is stopping people accidently connecting to your network.  Look in google for the words WPA WEP hack or similar to get an idea on how easy it is.
WPA is hackable, but it depends on your keyphrase.  If its unlikely to be found in a dictionary search then you're pretty much OK.

In terms of security it depends.  The prime problem is that people might nick your bandwidth.     If you also share files or drives on your local network then its a very big problem indeed (or if they are accessible on your network).
It also depends - if you live in the middle of nowhere then there's unlikely to be anyone around who will give it a go.  If (like me) you live in a fairly built up area then you may feel you want a bit more protection.

Hmmm.  802.11g is WPA while (as I understand it anyway) 801.11b isn't - which means that it will definitely support WEP.  I suppose the one ray of sunshine is if the Wii offers WEP or WPA which would be consistent with b/g.  Here's hoping.  I'm not running my network on WEP even for Wii.

Incidently I remember when the DS internet connectivity came out with Mario Kart.  There were tonnes of emails on the Nintendo forum asking when they were going to impliment WPA.  The official Nintendo answer - turn off your PC when you're not using your DS.  Why you need your PC on when you are using your DS, or why they think that people spend hundreds of pounds on a bit of kit they can't securely use when they're not using their PC only Nintendo knows.

Anyway I'll stop ranting and wipe the spittle away from my mouth.

Any news on whether Nintendo has entered the current century and is offering WPA for the internet connection? (rather than the next to useless WEP security they offer on the DS)
