But two of the victims have the surnames Nichol and Nicholls, and there are two forenames which are derivatives of 'Annie' (as in Chapman)... ALL names with a certain resonance with the Whitechapel Murders and so tied in with the whole Fourth Dimensional concept as espoused in From Hell.  

I think in all future high profile murder investigations, Plod would do well to consult Alan Moore from day one and call upon his Gnostic powers of foresight and predestination. Glycon knows the score!
