Hey there; always nice to see unpublished art by published artists! I see some Ron Smith influence in there, anyone else inspire your work? Can you save me hours of rummaging and name the stories/progs your work was published so I can check them out? That 'Death on the Lawmaster' is great - how much do you want for it?  ;)

I too can vouch for BoB on the Mr Macabre and Redondo Nemesis pages. He strikes me as a jolly decent and honest fellow.

I do agree, however, that some of the pages are priced high but as he states quite clearly, they're his brother's pages and prices.  This is in no way a dig at you Dale (you know I love you man, I'll be giving you some more money soon, I promise)!

Selling art is as much of a nightmare as buying it! There really is no straightforward answer to 'what's this worth?'...

Yes, Watkiss on Rogue was a real 'oooooooooohhhhh' moment, I imagine it would look like a scratchier, more fluid cross between Bradbury and Redondo.  A real shame, for us, that he took a different path. He'd have been great on Cabs Inc too

Yeah, I can understand that Link Prime....

Unfortunately, so is my brother and thats' the reason he's selling some of his artwork.....If I had the cash, I'd be buying a couple of his pieces myself, ( I absolutely love his Ernie Colon B/W piece of Dredd with a certain Mrs Thatcher being 'judged' ), but I've spent some money on getting a 'commission' done from one of our forum members as well......He's not an 'official' 2000AD artist but he is a damm fine one, and am just waiting for this to arrive.....the 'Subject matter' is very difficult to get hold of, well I've never managed to get a piece of it anyway, .....so thought I would go for an original just especially for myself.... :-X
Will stick it up on CAF and also on here when it does arrive..

Cheers

Intriguing...

I've already warned you about Hicklenton pages Mister...   ;)

I think we may need to resolve this in a duel

Wow, amazing stuff! Congrats!!!

That Hicklenton Nemesis page - that has been on CAF for a while. Is that your gallery Skullmo? Or did you pick it up from that fellah?

I only ask as I see there are 6 other Hicklenton pages listed on that gallery and I've been drooling over them for as long as I can remember

Arsom! Now I'll have to dig out #1 for re-read! I agree though, he'd have been great on Judge Death...

Was John Watkiss the artist on 'Kiss of Death' - that was gorgeous! I only ever managed to get issue 1 of that...

I am, you've got it the wrong way round! We pooled together to buy a number of pages in order to get a discount. The money has been sent and I'm now just waiting for the revelation that we've all been scammed into marrying Eboneke from Nairobi... (It's never as funny when you have to explain)...  :-\

Is there going to be a rush on Mick Austin now that a source of his art has leaked?

You bet; and there's possible news of a group wedding to a woman from Nairobi!
