I'm sure most of you have seen this already over on Mick's blog but here it is anyway: my latest commission - Slaine vs Shoggy

Lovely. A real shame you have written your name on it with a marker though!

Yea, nobody laughed the first time either!  ;)

I agree! I told him off! And I wasn't alone. The single best painted Slaine image ever (imho)

No, this was part of a private deal with the other art card originals. The ones you're thinking of on ebay are being sold by Reg from the Book Palace. He's got some lovely stuff and sells on behalf of Carlos and a few other artists, inc. Arthur Ranson.

Necropolis - Carlos Ezquerra

Of course, it doesn't help that on the order page they've called the 'shaded' one B&W! Could definitely be clearer. The good news is that I emailed them and they're happy to change my order from B&W to LINED!  :D

Bugger! I wanted, counting from the left, number 2. That's not the B&W one is it...  :(

#792
Hmmmmm, now you mention it, I'm now not sure which one I've bought. I initially thought that B&W meant exactly that and LINED meant GREYSCALE. Now I'm not so sure...  :(

Done! B&W for me!

That death of Thoth page is still one of my favourites. Beautiful stuff!

I'm pretty sure it's acrylic (I don't know much about artistic materials); it looks like it has been scraped onto the card with a spatula rather than painted with a brush. It feels very thick and heavy on the page, what looks like flat black is ridged...
