Over the Hedge and V for Vendetta before Batman Returns? Not in my book.

Also, I thought Spider-Man 3 was much better than Spider-Man 2, but that's not to say it should be at number 1.

I received a couple Tank Girl books from one of those "if you don't buy anything we'll send you the most expensive item" book clubs. Never read 'em though, looked kind of crude.

Should I pull those babies out of my book collection and give them a read?

My first memory of picking up 2000AD when I was about 7 (I'm 20 now, so do the maths). For some, it scared me (not sure why - I was such a wimp when I was younger), so I gave it to a friend.

Um, starting collecting a couple of years back. Got sick and tired of the boring superhero stuff, so thought I'd venture into 2000AD. Luckily, I wasn't scared this time.

My PC is actually attached to my wall/ceiling, and in order to reach it I must do that.

So yes, I have done it.

I haven't picked up the Batman Legend's title yet, but I may do when it reaches #5 (new start and all). Ill probably buy Superman Legends today though.

Although I'll be picking up anything DC-wise I see in my local news agents (I'm a whore like that), I'm a bit miffed that neither DC title out at the moment fail to reprint any classic material.

I'm probably in the minority when I say Carnival was one of my favourites. The plot kept me intrigued, and I know the whole "whose dunnit" crap is overplayed, but I thought it was interesting nevertheless.

Mention also goes to Lobster Random. At the time I don't think I truly appreciated it, but looking back it was an awesome read.

It annoys me that the series have different authors. I would rather they stick to one author per series. At least that way I'd know what to expect from the next book in terms of writing style.

"Sadly the action will be found in Forbidden Planet and be wearing a faded Dark Knight t-shirt."

Now you're talking!

My names a bit of a joke really. When it comes to the specimens found in a comic book store give me an overweight goth 'gurl' to a middle aged, Dark Knight t-shirt wearing man who still lives with his parents, any day of the week.

Having had my letter printed in this week's Prog (1537 - Tom Cotton), I was expecting to receive one of those crappy plastic Heroclix figures...however, dopey ol' Tharg didn't send me one.

Figured I'd moan about it in this thread.
