He was great in Red Riding, I've not seen him in that much else. I'm not a fan of the reboot idea, but this is a step in the right direction, for me anyway.

Not for several months yet, but we might need people to start confirming if they are going or not at some point after the summer.

I had to play a bit of catchup on the last few pages and all I can say is that I am continually impressed every time I check it out.

We could nearly get one car to collect those in the south and another for those in the north. Then meet up before we head across on the ferry. I could get some signs arranged for the sides of the cars/bus if we wanted to compete with CF's Radwgon. Judge Joyce, probably, but I'm sure PJ could come up with something good though.

What on earth is 'mustering'?

It's what happens to sheep that are too pretty for their own good.

And cattle too. Well done, Peter.  See, Usher isn't the only one who can teach us all some new words.

Well done to Mini-Tips and Mini-Bolt.
Nice work Jimbo, make sure you post it when you are finished.
As for me, I got my first job out here, nothing major, it's just farm work, fencing and some mustering mainly. It is in the middle of nowhere though, 330km from Alice Springs and the nearest thing to it is a a roadhouse about 45km from there. No internet and no phone signal makes me wonder if I'll cope though.

Film & TV / Re: Doctor Who: Vincent and the Doctor

I'm running a week behind but just taught I'd say how much I enjoyed this episode.
Tony Curran's Vincent van Gogh, was spectacular and a joy to watch. His portrayal of the depression that was affecting Vincent was very truthful and well portrayed.
The monster of the week as others have said was very basic but that wasn't the point of the episode.
The scene where Vincent was taken to the museum pulled on several of my hart strings and had me welling up. I was slightly surprised that they didn't use Vincent by Don McLean for the scene. Up till now I didn't think the use of actual historical figures in episodes was a good idea, but this may have changed my mind.

I think this was one of my favourite episodes since Dr. Who cane back.
