Or maybe wait a bit as it's not out for another week and prices tend to go down after a while.
Depends if you'd be willing to get a R1 version as well you might be able to import a copy.

Does make you realise how many sizes the real judges would need!

There is the potential for Scotty to have put on a fake accent once his career got going and he's actually from Gloucester! ;)

It was good but yes seemed dated in places but fun.
Probably better mixed in with other peoples sketches rather than all just him but good supporting comedians.

It's a pity he didn't get the chance to do this a few years ago really.

Off Topic / Re: Postal strike
09 October, 2007, 08:44:44 PM
Peterwolf it's not 5p extra it'd maybe doubling the cost that is needed to support the normal postal system. It's the loss of the business sorting to people like UKPost that is screwing over Royal Mail. Notice the mail sorting is one thing that the unions are fighting over. UK Post sortes business post then gives them to the RM to deliver!  They are cheaper as they have the best equipment and thats why RM is in so much trouble.

But really they must see that having strikes the way they are doing them is just turning the public against them. If it was a couple of days then a week or two gap and another one thats one thing but a couple with hardly any gap and then saying they'll keep it up until Christmas if they have to? Personally if they do that they can all lose their jobs as far as I'm concerned.
Always someone else willing to do the work.

Oh and now theres a rolling set of strikes coming for next week. Whose for storming the sorting offices with flaming torches? ;)

I think subscribers should get the opportunity to buy such things. It still stays a subscriber only deal!

It was good, especially seeing and hearing Carlos but I really didn't like the reading out of any of the strips, that really sucked.

Would be nice to have a proper 2000ad documentary though wouldn't it. We could do things like have a proper look at peoples art collection, behind the scenes of artists working, that sort of thing.

My boxes of 2000ad, Megazines etc are on a rapid racking very solid set of shelves with boxes of merchandise in boxes on the top and several statues, fleeces and hats. I have all the t-shirts still in their bags and other ones for wearing, I do wear my 2000ad fleece all the time though. I have all the mugs in their polystrene and I have a big drawer unit to put all my original artwork in.
I also have another bookcase and a bit full of 2000ad GN's.

I'd love to have the space to display everything properly.

All very nice indeed :)

I have loads of 2000ad stuff but it's all in their boxes/polysturene packaging.
I'd love to be able to get them in a big cabinet.

Hadn't thought where the helmets going to go actually! Just had to have one!

Yeah the belt pounches are big aren't they.

Statues or statuettes for me are things I'd like to have but can't really afford but worst of all I have nowhere to put them!
I finally bought the great DR and Quinch statues when the 200ad shop had a massive sale but they're still in their boxes on top of my shelves gathering dust.

Dredd - Nothing special, obvious how it was going to end

Stone Island - Ahh so all this is connected to that bizarre prison stuff?

ABC Warriors - Lovely quality artwork and great to see more of the story behind the ABC Warriors.

Caballistics Inc - Very good, especially as I went to Kelvingrove a few months ago :)

ButtonMan 4 - Meh
