There was a discussion about this sort of thing at work the other day. Someone said that where they live theres polish and russian kids (young kids) who get dressed up in camogear and play war with big plastic machine guns out in the streets making the noises and everything.

Well as one of Petes potential victims ;)I can say that as far in terms of my artwork it's covered under the basic policy.
I need to keep a list of any items and the same goes for our immense collection of dvd's.  I have photos of all my artwork and general photos showing the walls of dvd's to add as proof as well if it was needed.

I suppsoe part of it is also a matter of how things are stored. I have all my artwork in a big wooden plan chest so they are all flat.

If Samantha Slade was written just to give Ian Gibson work why didn't he do a decent job?
It's really one of the weakest stories I've read.

Now if we'd had a reworking of Slade, the kind of stories like happened with Johnny Alpha I'd have liked that.

It's a massive pity but you have to admit Sam Slade is shit.

I do agree his best work is BW, I have enough of it to show how much I agree. I don't think the colours really look as good on the page as they do on the original art, and that goes for a lot of artists. Problem is now we have all the CGI work which can only really look one way. It might look good on the printed page but it's lost 'something'.

Theres lots of commmissions I'd like but how much does it cost? I'd rather buy my own than buy the sketches from someone elses on Ebay, but again I'm surprised that more artists haven't done this before.

Maybe he's had a stroke?

I can't read it. I mean physically it's got darker and harder to read. I like his artwork but either he's using more and more ink or it's not reproducing very well.

And from what I have managed to read it's going on about some major event in MC1 whilst they're in another dimension? I do wish people wouldn't do that.

It's really good if long and goes into some weird 'cosmic' stuff that would be better left out but you have to stick with it.
I'm now reading his more recent eco-books, well written but not as good, go for the Mars Trilogy instead!

Well if you want to read about what if the Roman Empire never ended you can read Romanitas by Sophia McDougall

I'll be getting the 4 disc set I think. A proper finished version at last and now we also know it's going to be the best quality possible rather than the odds and ends we've had before, but might as well have them as well ;)

I've been wondering about Rebellion too. Mind you thats what you get for living in the other place :P

I had totally forgotten:
Rebellion boss Jason Kingsley made the decision to let prisoners in a fictitious prison drown."

But now it's been mentioned I seem to remember it wasn't such a bad decision. It'd just show the government not to build on flood plains ;)
