People are bastards.

Which is my motto.
Steal the dogs and burn the kennels to the ground.
That's my advice.

Interrogation:  Skipped, as always.
More cheap page filler:  Skipped.  Please, could we have more comic strips in our comic??
Usually I'd totally agree with you, as its someone I have no interest in or something thinly linked to Toof or an artists story which sounds very similar to all the others. This month was different though (for me) I was into new Eagle from a young age and came to 2000ad later. The Eagle and Ian Kennedy articles I therefore found really interesting.

Oh and yeah .. boob armour, no thanks, it's silly.

I agree James. In fact the text articles this month were my favourite part.

News / Re: FUTURE SHOCK! 2000AD Documentary announced
10 December, 2015, 11:39:12 AM
I've just finished watching it and the only complaint I have is that it was far too short!
I absolutely loved it. A true love letter to the comic.
As someone who does not attend conventions it was great to see and hear the creators behind the comic (Pete Milligan being my new favourite because he was drinking from a Spurs mug  :D).
It does add new stuff to Bishop's book but I would say it's more of a companion to the book rather than different. Is it worth a buy? Most definitely!
I think the best part I took from the documentary was the feeling of family. The writers, the artists, the editors, the letterers and the readers are all part of one, big family that...Well, just gets it. Made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
At £7.99 this DVD is an absolute steal for anyone interested in The Galaxy's Greatest Comic.
Loved it.

the new binders are snazzy it has to be said,
ANOTHER great call on the merchandise.

i do like them. I may order some for the Extremes or the Monthies. I know they won't get 28 issues per binder but it's better than spending £70 on reprints.

At the very least I bumped up the price for the badge. It was going for a ridiculously low amount. Sadly the final amount was out of my price range. At least it didn't for for 5 Euros.

Film & TV / Re: Doctor Who Season 9
07 December, 2015, 11:17:33 AM
I'm a big fan of Doctor Who (Jon Pertwee was my first, as you're asking) and I think season 9 got off to a good start with the opening two episodes. However, after that it went downhill quickly. But the last two episodes I thought it found it's feet again and I really enjoyed them.
Good to see River Song back in the Christmas special. Still haven't seen last years yet!
