Film & TV / Re: Last movie watched...

Just got back from GOTG 2.
It's good, very good, and the 3-D is probably the best I have seen in a cinema. It's very much like VR in places, enough to give me slight motion sickness.
Goes on about 20 minutes too long in my opinion and they really are taking these epilogues a bit too far (3 I think).
Went with the missus and my (soon to be) 13 year old and we all enjoyed it.
Probably not as good as the first. Soundtrack very good, but again, not as good as the first.

Just watched 'The Killer Has Reserved Nine Seats' on Netflix.
It's an awesome giallo.

Well, that was a pleasant surprise.
This morning I had a large, heavy package delivered and within contained the first 4 issues of the Ultimate Collection.
A letter explaining that the series has been paused whilst they decide whether to continue or not at a later date and thanking me for my interest.
As a thank you they included the first 4 issues for which I have not been charged for.
What lovely fellows!  :D

Better not call Saul I think. A brilliant first season with the exception of the final episode which was rubbish (put that on the DVD cover).

I think its just that I know exactly what Jimmy/Saul is going to do in every scene, even down to his hand movements.

Favourite character on the show for me is actually Howard. The actor is perfect in that role.

I just started watching this yesterday and am 6 episodes in so far.
Much more understated than Breaking Bad but I still like it alot.

@IndigoPrime, I don't know why; that's 53 books, so it's just over a pound a book, when the books were about £12 or more each when first sold.

He said 'not surprised'.

I always try and make up my own mind rather than let someone who I don't know do it for me.

having to pay 20p to go to the bog

I don't mind paying. The loos you have to pay for are normally nice and clean because they have someone on site all the time keeping them that way. Rather that than have skanky, shit stained toilets with broken doors and no loo seats.

I've been lucky - the only problem I've had as a seller is one item which got lost in the post. Fortunately I still had the proof of postage so after refunding the buyer I was able to get the full amount back from Royal Mail. Which reminds me: if using Royal Mail, always take it to the post office (comics won't fit in a pillar box anyway) and get proof of postage - if it goes missing they will compensate you up to £20. If the item's worth more than that, use tracked delivery and you're covered up to £50.

I've sold a fair bit of my friend's comic collection for him, usually in bulk, and post them in the long box.
I wrap the long box in clingfilm then two heavy duty rubbish bags very well taped down. Use Parcelforce and always have a voucher for 15% off so it's usually costs around £15, they collect, and there is £100 insurance with that.
Nice and easy and you can tell the buyer the exact date the comics will arrive and the whole thing is trackable. And no lugging them down to the PO.
