the Falcon making hyperdrive and laser shooter noises.

That's how I imagine it. Like in Lego Batman.

Lovely Staples Dredd. The print on the cover of my copy is very, very washed out. Any one elses...?

Nope. Mine looks wonderful.

Can I go with a Director instead? Or is that a different game?
Director = John Carpenter
But if I have to...
Actor = Tom Atkins means 'Creepshow', 'The Fog', 'Night of The Creeps', 'Halloween III', 'Escape From New York', 'Lethal Weapon', 'Two Evil Eyes', 'The Ninth Configuration'.

That would do me.

Such a beautiful cover.

I've not received either of my 40th Anniversary progs (both covers). Hoping to get them in the week.

Have you read Fever Pitch? Nick Hornby would skip friends Weddings to go to Arsenal matches and they happened every week.

I've done that many times to watch Tottenham.
When my Son was christened I went to the church and did my bit and then legged it to watch Spurs v West Ham missing the family gathering (at my house) afterwards. We drew 1-1.

Thanks Matty.

I was considering what to do with the page size change too and wonder if there is enough gap either side that the different sized ones could all be bound together.

Also, much later on, there is another page size change but I think that one runs for a lot longer.

Thank you to John Wick Chapter 2, best John Wick film of all time! Redonkulously epic. It's almost a crime how cool this movie makes being a classy hitman look.

(I forget who got greenlit to direct the Button Man movie, I say get this guy!)

Seeing this in a couple of days.
I had John Wick recommended to me a couple of years ago and only got round to watching it in the last month or so. Have now watched it three times. Love it. Looking forward to the sequel.

Saw a double at the cinema yesterday.

Lego Batman - Funny but ultimately, I thought, too long. Seems to have at least 3 endings and falls into the trap of being a 'feel good' movie. However, some great references for Batman fans and is something I would watch again 6/10

Followed this with;

T2: Trainspotting - Thought this was very good. Slow start as it basically assumes the audience knows not a great deal about the original and spends the first 30 mins re-introducing them. Nowhere near as depressing as the first film and I actually walked out feeling pretty uplifted. Good choice to have the film feature more about Spud than Renton and in regards to 'Inevitability'...I think it's kinds saying that you get out of life what you put into it.

Answering my own question it looks like a fiver for the logo. Is that right.
Also, did you add any of the summer specials to your binds.
I intend to add them at the end of each volume that ends in the summer (except, obviously, the winter specials) or are you going to do seperate binds for yours?
I think the size is roughly the same from memory, maybe a bit larger, but with the white borders and trimming I should not lose too much, if anything at all.
I also plan on doing a Starlord and Tornado bind with specials under the 2000 AD banner too.

So is that logo stamp available for use (for free) at Hollingworth?  ;)

About to send mine off soon.
Going for plain black buckram, red metallic lettering and, if possible, the logo.

This jumped the shark with the musical sequence. I just don't have the time to be arsed.

Did they? A 20 second dream musical number? That's what made you think it 'jumped the shark'? Everything else in the show seemed perfectly normal?

I watched the first episode knowing nothing about it. I did not know it was even from Marvel and I have to say I thought it was a pretty strong episode (I even enjoyed the musical dance number, all 20 seconds of it).

I don't read Marvel comics too much (I'm assuming from the logo at the end this is an X-Men universe thing) but overall I thought it was decent. I liked the characters and cared what happened to them next and I'm intrigued to see where the series is going.

As always with these series it's very difficult to judge anything on it's opening episode but I liked it.

Forbidden Planet again !

You can order them online from the 2000AD shop, which is what I did.

Me too. Ordered both covers a couple of days ago.

As someone who could not make this awesome event I just wanted to say 'Thank you' to all those who have added their stories and pictures to this thread. It almost feels like I was there.
Cheers guys and girls.
