Sure this particular master was mad as a hatter, but a disobedient dog is a bad dog. Humanity will become extinct and dogs or thems will rule the world.
Now that's what I call a downer ending :(
I thought it was upbeat. Clearly, nutcase wasn't the only living human of 'importance'—just a bad egg (proven by the existence of astronaut bloke last time). Gene's becoming more independent, but still wants to fight for survival. All good.

Most of the humans Gene has met so far have been not worth saving. I think human extinction with Dogs taking on and beating Them would be brilliant. A matter of opinion if you think that is a downer scenario I guess.
I hope that we hear more in the next book from the humans who took the Sower girl off in the shuttlecraft thingy, I reckon we will. I'd love to see the tiny little nutjob genius dog again too

Loved the rest of the prog, not quite as outstanding and shocking as last week but still top notch. Extra points for a full volume "BOOT KNIFE".

Read the prog last night while bribing the toddlers with Mr Tumble, obviously they were more interested in Daddy's comic, so I had to fight them off and shield them from the more shocking thrills.

Dredd: Solid

Flesh: Good start, got me interested despite not really enjoying the original much. Sorry for the blasphemy.

Time Twister: Nice. Old skool. Classic thrills.

Shakara: Awesome Bonkers! Ride that planet big boy, Yee Haa!

Kingdom: So Good I can't describe it. Did NOT see that coming. I literally shouted "Whoa!" out loud causing the Toddlers to jump off my lap and try and see what I was looking at so I had to shut the comic. Love the increased dialogue, planning and imagination from Gene Dog. WELL DONE DROIDS and thank you. Top prog moment of 2011 so far for me.

Ampney Crucis- I'm not sure who that fellow in the alley is so I've probably missed the point of the ending. Anybody care to shed some light? (And no, I didn't skim read it.)

There's a clue...You can see the monoical glinting over his right eye in the prison cell, similar to a previous panel, (haven't got the prog to hand)

Guess follows:
I reckon ole Bix, sorry Ampney, pushed his mates off the back of his flying contraption so that he had the legs to get back through the hole, crashed and ended up in prison.
The Dude abides. I don't know about you but I take comfort in that. It's good knowin' he's out there. The Dude. Takin' 'er easy for all us sinners.

My fave film ever. Sorry but there it is.

I'm obliged to mention that Gundam is better than Transformers. Yes indeed, kids!

Do they have meat and two veg then?

(even though Transformers don't have wangs and thus are all token girls).

Didn't one of the big baddies in the movie have a large swinging pair?

The remade MotU cartoon was a lot better than it got credit for, as was New Captain Scarlet and the latest Transformers animated effort (Transformers: Prime) is actually pretty awesome once it gets going.  New Thundercats is probably worth giving a chance.

Searched for Transformers:Prime and got this:

A Transformer called Arsey, nice.
Fighting alongside NarkedOff and MoodySod perhaps?

Nah I do that too.
I even horde weapons I don't have the skills to use.

It is just like real life really, whoever dies with the most toys wins.
