A decent virus checker & firewall will stop 99.9%of those nasties anyway - I didn't get windows XP SP2 upgrade for ages and I had no troubles in the intervening time.

Spent the afternoon playing MAME games on the X-box dev kit.

And that's actual work too - I was testing the frame rates to see which ones will need the most optimising :)

Well, I have scanned copies of a lot of the older Marvel stuff because I refuse to pay what they're charging for the Masterworks reprints (?35 for 10 issues!), and I don't want the black & white reprints. If they could do something in between that was about ?15 for 10 colour issues, I'd start buying them though.

I've also got Zenith, Miracleman and the old Marvel Zoids comics as scans because they haven't been reprinted.

And with all of those, I still manage to spend about ?75 a month on comics/gns

Possibly. I know I prefer to do the side-by-side in widescreen, so maybe Bungie are just trying to be clever.

Is your X-box set to use Widescreen or 4:3? I haven't tried co-op on mine yet (Widescreen TV), but we used my mates (Set to 4:3) and the screen was split horizontally (1 guy top, t'other at the bottom)

I was in Leicester this weekend, so I was roleplaying (Star Wars) until 1 this morning

Got up at about 10ish, talked Heroclix and Mageknight to my mate until about mid-day, then went to the pub for lunch. Did a bit of shopping in Leicester's Forbidden Planet (formerly known as Another World) and bought a couple more packs of Mageknight figures.

Was driven back to London, got back, read some comics (PVP), fell asleep, got up, did levels 3 and a bit of 4 of Halo and then watched Little Britain.

I am now surfing the net.
