GTA 2 was for the PS1 and had the same top-down view as GTA.

The Aquabats did a great cover of Operation Ivy's Knowledge. Sung as a campfire sing-along. You can download it from their site.

Johnny Cash's version of 'Hurt' was very good too.

Lego-munchies...

Scary though - did they have a 10% off deal or something? Adult Lego Fans will go insane for cheap lego - It's scary.

*Reads rest of thread...*

Yeah, Lego have a non-violence policy, to a point. They don't want to do anything that isn't really aimed at young children - so Dredd is out.

Oh, and the Rev. Brendan P. Smith isn't actually a real Reverend, he just uses the title. I think it's a throwback from when he used to be in a band.

It's Pyroxian...

And I've only just got back from holiday ;) (6 days spent at LegoWorld in Zwolle, showing off my latest spaceship to hordes of kids that don't speak English...)

Nice Dredd figure though.

There's a slim chance I may be able to make the Leicester one - depends if I can A) afford train fare to Leicester and B) face up to getting up at 6.30 Monday morning to get to Oxford in time for work ;) I've told my mates about it though, so hopefully some of them will be there.

Quaker Oats did some as a promotion in the 70's - you got the scene on the back of the box and the transfers in the box. It was some sort of space thing, with spacemen against some aliens (Zards?). My brother and I ate so many oats... So did our grandparents...

Didn't the first three issues of the Dr. Who magazine come with some rub-on transfers too?

You can listen to William Shatner's Has-Been here.

Yeah, some songs are actually quite good. 'Common People' is a complete giggle though.

What's your internet connection though? It'll be slow through Dial-up, but should be OK with broadband

But has anyone seen Bubba Ho-Tep yet? It's unfortunately on a stupidly limited cinema release over here - only 2 cinemas in London have it on - Grumble...
