I'd cast out cancer, infesema blood clots, sclirocis, phlem, depression, headaches, cholestoral, heart attacks, HIV and STDs.

I would of course have all of the causes of the above very much alive and kicking in my  Big Meg 1.

The doctor is going to enter different bodies in different times meeting icons and humdrum people alike, changing each destiny for the better thus mapping out the future for one and all. Ah but some things he can't stop, like Marylin Monroe's death..

And he's gooing to regenate to have Scott Bakula become the Doctor.  He picks up a royal marine and oh alright, that's Quantum Leap. plplpllpl! :P

General / Geddin yer name on the block!

I just read an editorial in the Meg272. It asks; If you were a Judge, what would you cast out? ( Anything from call centres to Counting Crows)

The person with the best gets a block named after them?

I'd love an Ant Rothwell block. It'd make my year. Can we enter through this website?

Perhaps its Lobster screaming in a pan of boiling water.Cooked til red and served on your plate the last thing it say to you is;

"killmeee kill me now." And you plunge the lobster fork in! And at the result of death the lobster morphs back to its original shape which was of course, a man.

He had been given the power of ani-morphing in a government experiment and chose to be a lobster at the wrong moment only to be pulled out of the water with the squid he was fighting with. Cramped up tight, he could not have morphed back without the space in his environment suffering a fate worse than death.

Or he could have been a talking Lobster.

Its been a long weekend.

I liked it.

I liked how it proposed the whole pooling in of a Who universe.

I liked how it was a modern Who.Shit in so many ways that  THAT made you want to cry.

Everything delivered, maintaining everything gone and what is to come.

I didn't like the Rose ending, well I could have meditated on it longer but found myself agreeing with the missus as it being a bit "perverse."

Which it was and I am only stating an adjective fact.

On the whole looking for better Who is not found in RTD. This was his swan song and if I was expecting 1/4 of an hour of blubbery shite at the end I was duly disappointed .

A good solid bit of serial writing that seemed to accept; You cannot please all the people all the time. I think to please some of the stalwarts of old Dr Who was its most heroic moment. I'm with DXB on the Cribbens moment. A full circle for his generation of companion.
