Wow... for once I'm looking forward to the Meg much more than 2000AD - Wagner and Peter Doherty on Dredd, Grant and Boo Cook on Anderson and Rufus too!  That line-up for 2000AD doesn't do if for me at all (just my personal preference of course) but the Meg looks great.

"Bob the Galactic Bum" is being reprinted?  Why?!  I already have every issue of that!  That's a disapointment... it is fun, it's by 2000AD creators and will be good for readers who've never seen it, but not for those of us who read it a long time ago.  

Well hopefully it will replace the movie reviews or rather pointless looks at past Dredd stories.  I do enjoy the interviews with artists though, more of those please!  Great to see PJ getting a couple of pages this month.

haha! I know just what you mean, I was trying to fight my nervous excitement meeting Mignola and McMahon.  And if I showed them my work and they said it was crap I would have probably cried haha!

I'm not yet published in comics, but I'm trying!  I've been "published" in stuff like Easy Jet advertisments online and other illustration work.  I recently rediscovered my love for comics, (especially 2000AD) and started doing sample pages this year.  So hopefully someday I can be one of Tharg's lowly art droids :-D

Cheers el-lopo :)  McMahon was actually a pretty quietly spoken bloke, but took a long time looking at my stuff and gave me some good pointers here and there.  I'd never seen a photo of him before, so had no idea what he looked like... when I saw him sketching a Dredd for someone, I was instantly an over-excited 10-year-old again! My girlfriend couldn't see what the big deal was.

He actually sat right next to us in the hotel at breakfast on Sunday, but I didn't want to bother a legend while he was having his morning coffee and toast :-)

Rufus, I may well be taking you up on that offer of more abuse soon... got the sample script from Matt this morning, so I'm making a start on that this week.  I got some great advice from you and PJ at the weekend, cheers!!
