Is anybody doing this?
Man. Having successfully avoided hundreds and hundreds of requests to join Mafia Wars, Viking Clan, and countless other Facebook games over the last year, I stupidly fell for this one with its "superhero" in the title - and now I'm addicted to the damn thing. Its kinda fun, building up your hero's powers and having these little animated battles with other people's avatars.
Anyway, just wondered if anybody else had got sucked in. If so -wanna team up!?! :)

I am now... although I'll probably get fed up in a week or two.

Oops...sorry!!!

Hey there all you Artistic Dudes and Dudettes.
I've written a horror script for "Tales of the Supernatural", a new publish on demand small press mag being produced by Down the Tubes (http://downthetubes.ning.com/forum/topics/looking-for-artists ).
Now its that time again when I need to find someone to draw it. Without getting in to too much detail, its about a zombified plant-girl (of course). :)
Anyway,if anyone's interested/looking for a new project/has time on their hands etc, drop me a line.
Cheers

Dave D'antiquis it says his name is spelt on Wikipedia. That's about all it knows about him though. I'd love to know more about him as well, loved his work.

Some pretty cool stuff in there. I have to say I'm a bit bamboozled by some of them though, as the creative brief clearly said that the strips should "tell a coherent story so that somebody who had never seen the movie in question would be able to understand it". There's a heck of a lot that dont seem to meet that criteria, movies I havent seen in which I can't work out what the story is supposed to be. As wonderful as the se7en artwork is, if you hadn't seen the movie would you know what the story was about and what the last panel was supposed to suggest? But I digress!

No such problem with Cravenoirs, thats a masterclass in story compression right there, and super artwork. Deserved the win.

Here's the Escape from New York one I did with Uncle Fester. Uncle Fester's art on this is stunning, I am still in awe every time I look at. Perfect likenesses for all the characters, great inks in all the panels, and panel 2 is breathtaking. Unfortunately my script was clearly too weak for it and his wonderful artwork won't get the exposure it deserves. Except on here!!!! Tell me that Ernest Borgnine in panel 3 isn't utterly perfect.

I don't know what the connection is but the appearance of Samurai guy in Jack's other life was very interesting and cant be coincidence.

Things are starting to pick up now, really getting into it.
