Classifieds / Looking to buy: Poster Prog
13 October, 2019, 07:18:03 PM
I am looking to purchase the recently released Poster Prog with the exclusive Judge Dredd story that went out to all new subscribers of the Prog and Meg. If anyone has a spare, or knows where I could get one, please let me know.
Thank you.

Brilliant news! Hope all the extra stories are included to make it the complete experience.

Prog / Re: Prog 2152 - Watch the world burn!

Just wanted to ask a question of anyone who is clued in with the history of 'Fall of Deadworld': How did Judge Death get deposed as Chief Judge? Is he supposed to be dead (?), and if so, how did he die? ("You cannot kill what does not live", notwithstanding!)

Many thanks anyone who can help.

The following stories are featured in Slaine volume 6:

The Grail War
Secret of the Grail
Lord of the Beasts
Kai
The Banishing

This should leave four stories finishing with 'The Secret Commonwealth' for volume 7 (and that's where I stop buying, as I have everything subsequently in hardback).

Bad repro is an issue that really bugs me. Personally, I would be more than willing to pay a higher price for my books if more time could be spent on them to bring them up to a good standard. Do others agree?

Interesting to see how they compare. Were the Titan versions taken from the original artwork itself? If so, what happened to said artwork and does it still exist?

Just wondered if anyone who bought this book also has the old large-size Titan editions and how the repro compares between the two. Are the old editions still superior?

Received my copy this morning via Royal Mail. Looks to be an amazing edition, but slightly upset it has a ding in one corner which offends my perfectionist sensibilities. Never mind...

Suggestions / Re: Collections I’d like to see

I would love a volume, or maybe two, covering all Judge Death's appearances from when he appeared in his own stories to big epics. It would be a lot to collect, but to chart the character's evolution over the years as Dredd's greatest nemesis would be extremely worthwhile. Let's hope it happens one day.

As these books sold out in record time, I hope we get the complete Nemesis (with all colour included) in this format. I just hope that I am on the forum when future editions are listed and don't miss any!

Will there be a series of these Nemesis books or is this just a one off of the first few stories?

Many thanks, Tomwe. If the credit for the artist David Bircham is correct, then Slaine volume 7 should have everything up to and including 'The Secret Commonwealth'. (It's going to be a big volume though!)

Just wondering how far the next Slaine volume will take us? I was hoping it would finish with 'The Secret Commonwealth' which would then leave me with everything collected in hardcover editions (albeit not matching). However, looking on Barney that might be just one story too many to fit in the next edition's size restraints and something might have to spill over into a 'Books of Invasions' volume. (And that would not be cool!)

I really like Anderson as a character but found the whole thing totally confusing. The idea of the illusions was a
good one, but suffered in the end from not being clear what really transpired and what didn't. It really could have done with being a bit less vague. Is it just me who is being overly dense or did others struggle to see what was real?

Does anyone know which number volume 'Ichabod Azrael' will be?
