Well Aid, lets all find out.

The original Kong (1933) is on over crimbo (20th or something) the sequil, Son of Kong (1934) is on just BEFORE Kong, for whatever reason, why not just show them in order??

The seventies Kong is on a week later, we can compare and contarst.

Oh, and unconnected, Flash Gordon's on the 28th.

DIIIIEEEEEE!!!!!!

Film & TV / KONG! (no spoilers)

Great stuff, pretty much a faithful remake of the original but fleshed out somewhat.

If I had a complaint (which I don't) I would say Jack Black doesn't carry the 'leading man' role just yet. An actor with more screen presence could have filled the role better.

Runs for about 3 hours, but the time flies by.

Treat yourself to it over christmas.

You may dare to say, but Bill Hicks would have flourished with or without Pryor.

As good as he was Richard Pryor is guilty of fueling the asperations of Richard Balckwood and Lenny Henry, possibly two of the most unfunny people on the planet.

Just not funny.

Seen this last friday and it's fantastic.

If you live in the London area get down there before it finishes on the 10th Jan, you're missing a real treat if you don't.

Apart from the stunning artwork provided by Rufus, you get a chance to see (maybe for the first and last time) all the marketing opportunities 2000ad won't be taking up in the future.

The Lego figures are a gem and worth the trip alone, but while there, pick up a tee shirt or two, and bring  Rufus a coffee (as if he needs another coffee) to keep his body temp up!

I'd like to give Rufus a big thank you for making my short stay in the rain so worthwhile, next time i'm in London we'll have to make a night of it.

Thank you.

I have some pics that I'll post as soon as I get the time.
