...Uncle Umpty is very quiet, did he actually watch it?...

No.

Although, to be fair it wasn't because I refused to, I just didn't know it was on.

I think I will make an effort to watch the new series, and did someone mention a christmas special, any idea when it's on?

I've taken a shine to Jack Staff recently and need info on what collected volumes I should be looking out for.

To my mind McMahons run on Saline is possibly the best strip art to appear in 2000ad.

Belardenellis stilted fugure drawing didn't do it for me (well, it was OK untill McMahon turned up).

Sky Chariots is genious, I remember marveling over those issues for days on end.

Simon Harrisons Stronty Dog didn't bother me as much as the fact that Carlos wasn't drawing it.

Help! / Re: SW: Battlefront II

I long ago got tired of incompatable graphics cards, or sound cards that wouldn't work with some types of games or just new games coming out that my PC wasn't powerful enough to deal with.

My solution, bought an Xbox.

For the price of a decent graphics card I now can play all the games I want with no incompatability problems, all the games run like a dream.

Nice tunes there (the mighty) Jock. Any chance of an album?

Why not just forget about the vibration gubbins altogether and flog it for a fiver.

Why does it have to vibrate any way, it's an electronux not a vibratonux.

If ebay gave him the wrong address then that is a problem between ebay and him.

I don't see how you have anything to do with that side of the transaction.

Chances are that he's had a number of things to post off and has just mixed up the addresses.

I once sent some comics to a guy who hadn't paid me yet because I was packaging up a load of other stuff at the time, lumped his into the process to save time later and posted the lot off, forgetting to leave his to one side to post later.

My fault. It happens sometimes.

Fishfinger butties! Oh now you're talking.

Right up there with Pot Noodle butties.

In fact what hot food stuff CAN'T go between two slices of generously buttered bread?

Stew sandwiches are also great.

Mat, I get this kinda thing all the time!!

I just print the bastard, and when a client complains I remind them that they supplied the artwork.

Do you ever get 'but it looked OK on my screen".

Idiots.

As I say, it's not bad, but its predecessor was fantastic, and was followed by Justice League, Superman, Batman Beyond - proving the first series wasn't a fluke, but the result of good production.

Agreed.

Wot Byron said...

Only seen a few of these.

Quite like the designes but it's just all wrong.

Mr Freeze is no longer the scientist serching for the cure for his misses.

No, he's a common thief who just heppened to srumble into a cyrogenics lab and get metamorphasised into a cold dwelling super fiend who then somehow imprisons a cyro scientist and forces him to invent a supercoldsuit to allow him to carry out his unlawful deeds.

And too much computer giggery pokery.

What was wrong with the Bruce Timm stuff, that was class.
