Yeah, well LOTS of people walk into the school lookin for trouble and boy, that Wolverine sure does get mean when his backs up. No mercy..

Really lokin forward to Matrix. I think that'll be THE movie of the year (until The Return Of The King in December anyway)

Great Stuff.
Nightcrawller kicks ass.
I was concerned when Alan Cumming was chosen for the part, but man O man is he good. The opening sequence shows just how much potential Nightcrawler has, and you better be on his side.

I'll post a full review on ximoc as soon as I get the chance.

It would have to be Strontium Dog for me. I think Alpha has the geartest potential for movie material. It has a long history and some crackin villins (the stixx brothers just for starters).

I remember the bule/grey Rogue Trooper thing from a few years back. I think a blue Trooper could easily be done now, just look at Mystique and Nightcrawler in x-men, so no problem there

I can (although not for some time now) down a tin of beer in approx 3 seconds using the 'cannonball' method. And not the little budweiser tin, a proper (nearly) pint tin.

I tried it with a litre tin of Fosters and almost killed meself. I've never tried it since.

THE ARCHITECTS OF FEAR was an Outer Limits episode, I'll have to read Watchmen again to look for the comparisons, I seen THE ARCHITECTS OF FEAR recently on video so I'll do that while it's still sorta fresh in my mind.

Yeah, I distinctly remember a FS about a fronteer guy and his family travelling across the planes of the mid west. His wife was sick with a feaver, the man came across a little town like no other he had seen, bought some pills, brought them back to his wife whos feaver was cured by the pills.

He had actually ventured into (his) future, the pills were asprin and his wife just has a bad cold.

This was a complete rip off of a Twilight Zone episode called 'One Hunderd Yards Over The Rim' in which the exact same events occured.

I'm sure this is not the only case of Twilight Zone or The Outer Limits (or maybe even Rod Serlings Night Gallery, but I've never seen any of those so I can't comment) influencing FS or TT tales.

Anyone think of any others??

A Dredd animated movie or series is probably the best option. Along the lines of the Batman animated style, nice clean crisp lines, cool designs. I'd go for that big time.

Off Topic / Game idea for Rebellion.
24 April, 2003, 12:29:59 AM
I assume Rebellion are gonna continue with 2000ad related games, well how about this one.

Sim Mega City...

Build and manage a mega city, take on the role of Chief Judge deploy Judges to areas of crime (decide how many, what type, street Judge, Tec Judge etc...).

The possibilities are endless, how would you deal with The Dark Judges, an appocolypse war, Block Mania.

Sim City is a top game and with a Dredd spin on it would be fantastic.

I'd buy it.

Any thoughts on the type of game Rebellion should have a go at?
