BOOMBLOX is a pretty good physics based puzzler.  Well, I say puzzler but actually you are mostly throwing balls at big stacks of blocks and watching them fall down.

It's remarkably good fun and chock full of character - we keep coming back to it.

I understand there's a sequel out which ramps up the multiplayer and party game aspects of it so that might be worth considering.

Both BOOMBLOX games are great.

I think its a good reveal. I've lost track of the D. Gibbons character.  I hope the fact that a Lost actor being in doesn't automatically mean it is going to follow it into a dog chasing its own tail tedium. So far very good. All those good detective dramas with added x.file. As long as it keeps these ideas in as winks and keeps its own original thread, it should deliver continuously.

Make that TWO Lost actors.

My theory is that the blackout was caused by the island in Lost shifting in time... or something.

I was curious about the drums version of Guitar Hero but i dont know a thing about it and havent ever tried it but i can play drums anyway so whats the point ?

The only thing i need is a drumkit and a house somewhere that doesnt have any neighbours where i can make as much noise playing them without annoying anyone.I had this privelage when i lived in the lake district where i did have neighbours which was a working farm plus the farmers themselves were deaf so i could make as much noise as i wanted.

Like you say i think the drum version is the only version that is worthwile because you are never going to learn to play guitar with the guitar version.

I picked up a second hand electronic kit for my son to practice on at home... he uses a full kit in his tutors studio and the electric kit with headphones at home.

Being good at guitar hero has NEVER gotten anyone laid though. Promise.

Guitar Hero is just a modern day version on that bleepy SIMON where it beepes and lights flash and you have to repeat the pattern. Now, don't say it isn't 'cause it is!

At least with the drums version you are actually simulating the actions of actually playing the drums and I can see the appeal of that and you might actually learn something about playing the drums (which is by the way VERY FUCKING HARD) but pressing coloured buttons on a plastic stick while flicking a plastic switch... well, I don't see the point in that.

Just check you havn't accidently switched off the wireless connection.

If it is a laptop you are using they will have a means to disconnect the wireless, on mine it is CTRL F2, on my sons it is a physical on/off switch at the side of the laptop.

Try connecting your computer to the router with the wire.

This is of course of you are on a wireless connection. If not then I haven't a clue!
