(why does he have a horse skull as a head??)

A horse?  Ha ha!  That'd be ridiculous!

Everyone knows it's a sheep's skull, which of course makes sense entirely;)

Where's the 'globetrotting Squaxx in 2000AD t-shirts' thread when you want it?

I had to attend a meeting in Japan this past week.  There's no direct flight from Sydney to Osaka any more so went via Hong Kong.  There wasn't really any downtime so I couldn't go sightseeing in a Tooth t-shirt, but here's a few spur-of-the-moment snaps with my Planet Replicas keyring.

A view of Osaka from the office.  I always think "our man in Hondo" when I'm here.

A bit more of Osaka.  I'll get on that Ferris wheel one day.

Last day - finally a meal I could really get my teeth into! ; )

I think IDW are doing some great work at the moment pushing Dredd in the US.  However, I do find some of their covers to be awful - this was ugly when it was on the floppy and why would they use it for the TPB?  Same goes for Dredd: Year One, I thought they used the ugliest cover of all four for the TPB.

I totally agree!

Carlos did a great Apocalypse War cover for volume 2 of his IDW collection, they should've got him to do another for this collection.  Otherwise, there's some great Bolland covers from the Eagle (Quality?) comics that they could use - Dredd about to be squashed by an enormous Sov tank for example.

That's quite appropriate as it came up when he was playing one of the Infocom Zork adventures at the time.

Some of the guys on another thread just worked out what a fetish is...  ::)

Though having said that, I can remember being in high school and finding out my brother thought a gazebo was some kind of animal!

I love every bit of this.  There are some very talented people here but sometimes the brilliant art doesn't have a great concept to go with it, or perhaps lesser artistic abilities mean the ideas aren't presented as well as they would be in other hands.  I think Steve3po has nailed both in one go, and it's his first post too.  Wow!
