I so want to draw legs over Rogue's shoulders on this so it looks like he's giving the vampire a piggy-back.

:D Please do. Great idea.

Thanks Albion!

An absolutely brilliant artist, and absolutely well deserved recognition.

General / Educating Marmalade (prog sighting)
19 September, 2013, 03:07:50 PM
I was getting a retro TV fix this evening watching the recent Network release of "Educating Marmalade" (1982).  Very pleased and surprised to see the prog turn up on my screen:

The mother is played by Lynda La Plante, who gained fame the following year for "Widows".  Marmalade was played by the late Charlotte Coleman.

It's prog 271 (3rd July 1982).  The episode, "The Convent of the Blessed Limit", was screened 1st November 1982.

Being a bad girl, Marmalade Atkins does not treat her prog very well.

TV show (c) Thames TV and Network.  Prog (c) Tharg.

I'm just thinking of unused ones that can be done, before I write to him...

A Souther, a Nort, and Chief Judge Griffin.  I'd also vote for the Gronk, Hoagy and a Mechanismo Judge robot but they're probably outside the scope of this (fantastic) project.

This should go in the Lego 2000AD Part 1 thread, but anyway...

The next series of Lego Minifigures to be released (series 11) has a Barbarian figure that has a bit of a Slaine vibe to him.

The postie was getting it out of his mail sack when the palm sensor registered a fail.  The self-destruct took his arm off.
