Top Secret - I LOVE this movie! It's even better than Airplane (favourite scene: watching the cows through the binoculars). "I know a little German."

Life of Brian - quite probably the best movie ever made. I agree with Rac about the favourite line changing... Right now it's, "All the gold I could eat."

This is Spinal Tap - utterly brilliant. "They were still booing him when we came on stage."

Ace Ventura - Pet Detective - Love it. "Hey Ace, got anymore of that gum?" "That's none of your damn business and I'll thank you to stay out of my personal affairs."

I'm one of the old school, having read the prog since issue 1.

I can't remember exactly where I heard about 2000 AD first: I seem to remember a half-page ad for 2000 AD in either Battle or Action, and I definitely remember my dad showing me an article in the paper shortly before the comic was launched (there was tons of coverage in the press because Dan Dare was coming back).

I've got two large rooms full of comics, graphic novels and assorted memorabilia. But that's allowed because Leonia has two rooms full of books. Plus we have the sitting-room full of DVDs and videos.

If we ever have any kids we're screwed for space...

I hate to get pedantic (that's a lie: I love it)... But it was called Ace Trucking Co., not just Ace Trucking. So there.

Er... How about "rugby, all day, four days a week (and then some)"?

Then again, perhaps it's great. I've never watched a game in my life so I wouldn't know...

> The only probem I have is it's racially aposed to Asians

[Sigh] Okay lads, I'll take this one...

Er... Thryllseekyr, old pal... How, exactly, is the Iron Man movie "racially opposed" to Asians? Seriously. How do you derive that conclusion from the trailer? Or do you know more about the movie than the rest of us?

Is it because the bad guys at the beginning are apparently from a country in the Middle East?

If that's the basis of your judgement then surely the movie is sexist too: the baddies all appear to be male, thereby reinforcing the stereotype that all men are hostile and war-like.

If the Killdozer still has tracks and the Land Raider still has wheels, then a fiver each is pretty good. Even better if the Killdozer still has the missiles (and better still if the little figures are with them too).

Not at all, Uncle Umpty! If you want a higher-resolution version just say the word. I've just rebuilt the 3D model from scratch - the new version has much smoother roundy bits and looks a lot better.
