I suppose we better start organising the bloody thing then...

Tch! Bunch of comics dealers, bunch of guests... How hard can it be?

In celebration of this auspicious day (TLAP), I have taken some time out of my busy schedule to slap together a Flash version of my Fantasy Title Generator - no more need to download and install a program!

It's available now on my lovely new website: www.michaelowencarroll.com

Thank you for listening. We now return you to your regular website.

Man, this is the coolest thing ever! Any chance the bus could sort of swing by my place and pick up me and the missus? Dublin's not THAT far off the route, right?

Hmm... Guess we'll just have to slum it in an airplane like last year and the year before (though last year there weren't any flights from Dublin to Inverness, so we had to drive to Belfast and fly from there).

Hope you guys can pull this off: Hi-Ex is the best comic-con in the world!

Every new Dredd epic sparks another round of rumours concerning how and when the Judge is going to end his days, despite the fact that Dredd's only in his sixties, he regularly undergoes rejuvenation treatments, has access to bionic replacement parts when needed, and the stories are set in the future where we regularly encounter characters who are over a hundred years old thanks to advances in medicine.

Excellent podcast - as always. Not too sure about this mister Richmond Clements lad, though. Sounds like a bit of a dodgy character to me.

Earliest I remember actively buying -from the newsagent in Bally Brack- is prog 266 at the "jesuitical" age of seven but I'm sure I had encounters before that since I remember pevious stories.

Ballybrack, eh? Me too! In fact, I was very probably the first person in the whole of Ballybrack to read 2000 AD - because I arrived at the newsagents on a Wednesday evening at the exact moment the bundle of Prog 1s was delivered. The newsagent knew it was my sort of thing and opened the bundle there and then, rather than make me wait until the next morning when the comic was officially on sale.

Don't blame me - this one was my wife's suggestion!

(We're fifteen years and one day married today!)

OK... My turn next - but for some reason my connection is wonky at the moment: I can't see most of the images on this page, including Rac's image (some other websites are giving me trouble too). Hopefully it'll all get back to normal later tonight.

Yep! Been watching it on RTE 2 - and I love it! It's like all the best late-70s slasher pics rolled into one. Can't wait to see how it all wraps up on Monday!
