The WHO map of Europe is slowly but surely turning blue. By the time this is over I doubt there will be anwhere completely untouched. Anyone who's already booked a flight for later in the year would be wise to check the cancellation details - just in case.

Off to Lanzarote a week on Saturday - don't mind if they close the airport once we're there, I could do with a month of quarantine in the sun  :D

As for conspiracies, unless there's proof I'll side with Occam and go with unregulated farming and markets.

Doctor: Stay here. I can protect you. Trust me.

30-seconds later, two dead.

Doctor: I can't protect you, run.

Erm, yeah.

To be fair, she also said "stay in the buildings and don't run"

And the doctor has long form in this - Recently  watched the Titanic Xmas episode and he made the same promise to the fat brummie couple (deceased).

Nearly late for work today as I just had to investigate the mysterious big flat envelope on my doorstep - that print is very nice indeed!

A little light relief from the grimness, a song from an artist I love about saving what we've got vs relying on space.

I'm loving this.

Everyone talks about Patrick Stewart revisiting an iconic role, but props to Jeri Ryan - I really liked badass Aneka, and I hope she comes back before the end.

I hope that
ditzy scientist doesn't get away with murder for long, or Picard's slipping in his Starfleet instincts -
How did he die with an EMH available?
Activate EMH
How did he die?
Bitch killed him

Larry Tesler, computer scientist, 74.  Invented cut, copy and paste.

Someone posted this on Imgur and the comments section is just people copying and pasting the headline over and over again. Fitting tribute.

I get that, but does that mean there is no point in criticism?  that all are equally as successful so long as there is a core of people who still like it?

Though presumably to follow the logic, we should have rah-raheed that era?

The point is that fans complain during EVERY era!

Nah, just that Whovians are a bunch of bloody whingers!

See also fandom reaction to 2000 AD (bar, perhaps, the objectively crappy period around the 800s for a few years).

This is a perennial problem of fandom. If you want real bile, check out what some comics fans say and write.

It's all there...
His wife ran over him, that's why she had damage done to her car.
It was a subtler, different kind of show - which contrasted greatly with the weird grotesqueries of the last episode. I really loved it. (and I loved the last one too, I'm all in for weirdly changing formats)

Ah yes, I forgot the
bit about the car repair bill. I thought it may turn out to be the daughter after all the focus on her driving test. Also wondered if Alex's wife had been run over by the druggie son, starting his spiral off the rails.
