['World of Warcraft']

Is 'World  of Warcraft' an MMO ? There was something on the BBC news about it and Mega City 1 would be perfect for such a game. I think  'Warhammer online' is coming along soon and it's similar in theme to Warcraft .


Only trouble is there could be no Judge Dredd or any of 2000 A.D 's main characters since everyone would want to be them it would prove impossible. Perhaps they'll happen along as an NPC or Non Playing Character.

Must admit panic mode over. David Roach's artwork for the strip was rather good in the end and Al Ewing 's tale was fun. Ah well my over reaction to what I assumed would be an American version of old granite face was misguided to say the least. The traditional Dredd uniform endures. Hooray!

I think I saw one set in London about some part of the city that is really some Cthulian horrors hunting ground. Good fun even with the not so special effects.

[Dredd]

I think any Dredd movie or Tv show will have to wait till new technology comes along that will make it all a lot cheaper. As for Stallone's Dredd the production design was great but the story veered all over the place and Dredd never worked too well for me as a rebel against the system -when he is the system !

It's on Film4 on Wednesday 22nd of October 2008 at 9.00pm I think so crack open a beer, grab that crisp packet and shit yourself down in your favourite chair for some Mega City blue's ultra-violence !
